Ray Price will always be considered the best, greatest, singer of Country Music. I used to go to sleep every night listening to him sing. I played music growing up and as a teen I would put his records on and learn his songs. I will dearly miss him. I thought so much of him I wrote a song about him and the songs he sang called "The Cherokee Cowboy". The song is on you tube for all to listen. THANK YOU JANIE for sharing your comments.
After listening to Janie Price talk about Ray's last album being his best, I have to say that she is 100% correct. This man was the most talented singer of country that I have ever listened to in my 71 years. I was a musician and listened to all kinds of music in the days when full orchestras were used to back some great voices. Ray Price's voice was the best of these. with Robert Strong

My Dad Beat Friend his son Steve Misner passed away from cancer last week on June 1st. Vriene Misner Polak Band from White water WI Both Farther and son gone.
