Cant the new timaeus summon dragoon since dragoon only needs 1 dark magician and one dragon effect monster. So summon timaeus activate eff and use him and DM to summon dragoon. So you wont need to run red eyes and red eyes fusion and you have 2 extra spots in the deck.
@@mewyblast5575 nope just a red eyes or any effect dragon type. And timaeus is an effect dragon. So he should be able to activate eff and fuse with DM for dragoon.
But Timeaus route is a neg 3. Itself, the card sent used to special summon it, and the other fusion material. And situational as it’s relies on having correct cards for its summon and having a dark magician in hand / field.
Limiting Dark magician to dragoon plays could work sometimes but it makes it really fragile. Even tho dragoon is a broken card, it can really be a waste of ressources in DM. For the first turn, I find the dragon knight to be more solid and you can definitely notice that against decks like tri-brigade.
Not if you can bust out two dragoons or at the very least set up for other negates and disruption at the same time. No need for red eyes dragon anymore or red eyes fusion. Magicalized should be priority and timaeus dragon should run at 2. Dark magician is not a brick in this deck since you can fusion or bring him for card effects. Palladium are a bit more playable now with the new support as they can be splash for chaos new fusion. You can send them back to your deck instead of the ritual or use them for summoning timaeus. I would run terraformin and 2 secret village 2 new field, as secret village stops a lot of the current decks going first. Also, summon limit is pretty needed for going first to stop your opponent from going off. No need for 3 circle.. I will probably go down to 2 or 1, as it's searchable and not a good starter. I often hold it to set up my deck for soul servant draws. I would definitely try fit 2 illusion magician to bring DM to your hand for timaeus.

Either Anaconda or Dragoon. I'd rather have Dragoon banned because it's horrible card design by itself and the other relevant targets (Phoenix Enforcer, any of the Shaddolls, Battle Butler and Titan) are all way more manageable than Dragoon, but I'll take either one.
@@Lithium2300 not saying you shouldn't play dragoon. But is kinda annoying that everyone is playing the same deck, and that deck have one of the most annoying and generic cards ever released as the primary form of interruptions.
One of the very few times i really disagree with the build. - 3 field + 2 Eternal is way too much, 1 field + 2 eternal is plenty (you dont need to clog your hand even more) - REF is great as a Foolish Burial but no more than 1, also Kuriboh is very gimmicky. Illusion can return it to the deck, and for the followup you have Magicalize. - Secrets is amazing, not only can help you dogde Imperm/Veiler, "The Dark Magicians" makes Servant an add instead of top deck. You can even place your Eternal Soul on top to activate it on the same turn. Also Illusion is a monster negate so it can even work for a ritual summon. Preferably you go for "The Dark Magicians" since it floats and works like Heatsoul drawing every turn. - 2 Prep is also mandatory, you want to see Rod/Souls every game. You can even go to 3 but having both Rod and Souls at 8 copies is vital. - Upstart Goblin allows you to get your Servant top deck or anything that Circle rearranged on the top. - Inheritance is also a great card, if you put some draw power. You dont search this card, it's there for the blind draws. Max at 2, i run only 1. - Apprentice is at least 1off. Free body, can dump anything to make Verte. Big note here that you can go Verte/Dragoon, then Normal Summon Rod and get 2 draws. The extra needs some work as well. - The new DM-BLS works with both Selene's, wiping the board and pushing for the OTK. - The Dark Magicians can give you a draw every turn, making your handtraps even more lethal. Also dont forget the Trap setting effect. - Imduk is a better Link Spider, you can then go to Verte and make Dragoon with Magicalized. Or use it if you open it. - The rank 1 Zeus package is super situational (like the second Verte), i suggest I:P + Goddess or Unicorn. With the field spell you can get both DM and DMG to steal a monster with Goddess OR mind your chain links and tribute DMG for Rod (discard fodder) and go into Unicorn with IP+DM. Lastly my very subjective touch is running Meisters instead of Belles with 2 Allures (9 handtraps, 3 Imperm 3 Veiler, 3 Meister) because you can afford to banish an extra name and it works really well with the above. (This isn't a rant, im trying to help!!!!!!)
"Is this new support going to make DM top-tier? Nope." , of course not! And yet they do it anyway! Not saying you have to play meta by any stretch, but I rarely saw DM played at locals. Definitely not enough for this nostalgic bait to be as prevalent with support as it is.
I am still on my opinion that this support is GAR-BA-GE ! except for the fusion one that I blv is amazing ! other than that I consider everything to be ... well I already said it. I might be wrong about the ritual but the only reason I said so was the fact it is a searcher for souls' and every single deck that needs souls" will splash it without need a brick in deck to send since the ritual can be sent to the GY meaning that konami didnt provide help for DM but just a splashable crazy engine imo which is why the support is GAR-BA-GE ! I feel iffy concerning the field spell honestly ... it is just souls' food and thats it ! anyway, the deck isnt impressive at all imo, and it is doing what it was already able to do which is unfortunate for many DM players ... why cant DM get just decent support once and for all ? an what hurts me the most is they ALWAYS gets terrible support ... the only amazing one was the "Magical HERO" set that was crazy ! many decks deserves some love *looking at Volcanics* and if Konami want to stick with DM then give Red-Eyes ... not support but a freaking playstyle ... seriously no archetype got humiliated as Red-Eyes ... Joey DESERVES the respect he deserves.
Well... As a Red-Eyes player, the archetype not having a clear playstyle is... oddly appropriate. You can do anything you want with Red-Eyes : Dragon Link, Dark Warrior, Gemini Beatdown, Xyz Spam, Fusion Control and so on. But, it would be nice to have more Slash-leveled Fusion Monsters and a Fusion Spell that doesn't suck ass like an archetypal Dragon's Mirror.
Well, uh, you are wrong about the ritual. Other decks being able to splash in your engine doesn't make it garbage support. And the support is good because it helps DM do what it was already doing with more consistency. Because that's what good support should do. It'd be annoying if decks got support that couldn't be readily slotted into the deck because it supported a playstyle that was too different from the previous version.
@@AnimatedCarl being it splashable is garbage for the deck because every single deck will love to have souls' I am honestly not satisfied as a wholr with the support and it is my first time ever to not like a support for any kind of a deck.

@@kaesitha7006 I mean the fact that Anaconda has so many other targets kind of proves that it is the card that needs to go in the modern format
@@114bleachfan Yeah, that's fair
@@114bleachfan Exactly.
It's laughable who argues that the real problem is Dragoon.
I found about 10 dark magicians in a row. This have to stop, is even worse than when engage was unbanned, and this is a dragoon spam deck
Imagine not using the deck’s boss monster 😌
@@Lithium2300 not saying you shouldn't play dragoon. But is kinda annoying that everyone is playing the same deck, and that deck have one of the most annoying and generic cards ever released as the primary form of interruptions.
12:43 "Not top tier deck" Something else will, with Illusion and Souls.
God i hope that neos will get something too soon
One of the very few times i really disagree with the build.
- 3 field + 2 Eternal is way too much, 1 field + 2 eternal is plenty (you dont need to clog your hand even more)
- REF is great as a Foolish Burial but no more than 1, also Kuriboh is very gimmicky.
Many thanks ❤️
magicians souls... $100 usd each.. need playset, verte anaconda... $55 usd, Dragoon... $80 usd WHAT THE HYUCK KOMONEY lol
More of a dragoon turbo deck and not a dm deck
@@AnimatedCarl being it splashable is garbage for the deck because every single deck will love to have souls'
I am honestly not satisfied as a wholr with the support and it is my first time ever to not like a support for any kind of a deck.
And what did you want them to get?? A searcher for the monsters is lit what everyone's been asking for lol.
@@engelsvladimir7727 how would I know what they need ? do I look like a DM player ? but I definitely know a good card when I see one and I can assure you DM never needed that kuribo for example, but the ritual monsters sucks not because of its effect but bcz it will be abusable/splashed in different deck that want to use souls" thats my opinion ... plus why did it have to be (that effect)) on a freaking ritual monster ? what the point ?
No one cares to ritual summon illusion of chaos...
