You’kno, I sorta hate Azur Lane sometimes.... why?
Because I had a similar Idea, not for a game, but for a book...
One filled with moral complications and humanity’s collapse...
And yes there were Alien shipgirls, but they were inspired by another anime (Blue something)
Difference was, they’were all individuals, each with their own personality, choices, history, and future...
And some of them were equipped with tentacles...
Here are some of their class names:
The Observers (different is that they are a Eukryto plane type ship)
The Clones (Not actual clones, just mostly had similar color schemes)
The Defenders (Highly armored designs)
The Attackers (basics battlecruisers
The Fool (based on the Arcana’s and a few anime I watched
The Thief (similar, but my ownonly slightly based on Arcana’s
The Goddess (an actual divine being, who would’ve been the strongest character ever possible...
I was trying to make an all-powerful character, so don’t think to much on how it worked)
And tons of others... (Zero, One, Two, up to Ten, In between attacker and defender, more generalized classes, more generalized characters,
So much was in there...
Along with your run of the mill shipgirls (Atagao, Enterprise, Maury)
With the inclusion of most ships, including, the Borodino, the Kamchatka, Joffree, Amagi, Cumberland,
And a few interesting ones too, (Alsace, Montana, A-150)
The plot story idea is roughly in my head, but I need to work on the little things and character dialogue and scenes...
Here is the description,
What if’s are very interesting... Aren’t they?, well, let me introduce you to a variation on your world...
What if, Ships were sentient (and girls), what would their story be? What if, you added an alien race to it all?
There’s also a historically accurate one where many die, it doesn’t have aliens, but focuses on the actions and battles of the war...
I never got to writing it due to Azur Lane...
(Note, Children would’ve died in the historically accurate on AND the other one... Children being certain ships which, based on their history, I made into a personality...
Tirpitz being a slight Yandere...
Certain ships being concerned about their sisters...
Others regretting what they couldn’t or could’ve changed...
(I liked and still sort of do like Yanderes..., or just crazy girls)
But I never wrote any of this...
I still have all the ideas in my head to this day, yet would it be worth it to work on such a thing?
