Recons biggest mistake was not having enough favour for a restoration when you pushed in on him building that fortress. Spamming restoration is how Zeus beats Atlantean.
What im interested in is how do you handle scouting? in starcraft i scouted from the first minute to know what the enemy does, but in aom i often see pros just for 8-10 minutes not even search the enemy base. Is it that you just know by civ and god what they do and when its getting deangerious and if yes, do you have specific timings in your head like : norse with god X pushes at earliest minute 8 ? Would really like to know the timings you know
Any chance at a video, even a short one, on team games? To be blunt, I’m so dreadfully sad about constantly losing to my brother’s Hades in 3v3s. I find often he sits back, walls in, booms to titan gate/wonder, and all my attempt to derail him are thwarted by his opponents. He only attacks via underworld passage, the new bane of my existence. I unfortunately don’t really play team games, however one thing to note is that with team games maps are larger and as a result you’re able to play more greedy and economically than you otherwise would normally, so you should try and take advantage of that by going for more eco and less fighting oversll
If you post a low-edit video for us to ask questions about, and then post the same game with analysis, like you did this time, maybe we can have the best of both worlds: excellent professional play, lower ELO questions being asked, and as a bonus there is more depth to the game than many shallower games. Maybe this model would be perfect for us (the community) and would be easier for you to produce since you are more familiar with the game after editing the first video and then looking for questions before writing the second video. Would you test it now by doing this on purpose from the beginning?

Don’t understand why recon made so many hoplites and so few hypaspists here. Hypaspists would tear your infantry apart and cost only half the gold compared to hoplite. Mix them in with hoplite in a 50/50 ratio and your infantry can’t ever frontline. Even Contarius can’t beat athena hoplite hypaspist ball. Players in this game are so inflexible with mixing units up.
@ i’m a new AOM player, and I’m trying to understand the game thanks to your vidoes. But I can’t really find a good build order for some gods and I don’t know what to do tbh. I can really find a solid way to win every time against AI extreme diff. Can you help me?
