Really useful tutorial, thanks! I was wondering if you have any suggestions on getting these procedurally generated cables to collide with other mesh geometry in the scene? Like which nodes to look at using? + 1 subscriber :)
Make sure you are using 3.2 beta. Also make sure that node groups are enabled in the asset browser filter. Then when you have a node group, right click on the name on the node and choose "mark as asset"
@@JohnnyMatthews Donn't know what that is but will check. The amount of cable related addons, tutorials, models related to cables for blender is astounding.
Absolutely perfect usable tutorial. I am so appreciative!
absolutely love this, been using bendy bones for this before and your method is a million times faster and easier to transfer
Awesome!
Incredible! That was so easy to set up
Glad you liked it!
That was fascinating Johnny, and so was the IK tutorial, thanks for that and for the github gift :)

Ah thanks 😊You’re welcome I hope you get good use from the idea!
Brilliant, thanks for sharing!
I will use the node to generate the curves (extremely useful, thanks), but then apply, add a stiff cloth modifier, and then skin for thickness.
Sounds like a great idea! Keep taking it further!
Brilliant teacher!
