As TowaNoa shipper YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT AND NOW YOU HAVE TO WRITE THE FANFICTION! I ship a Towa and Rinku a bit (I also ship Rinku with Kyoko, I'm a multishipper) and I love this video. The last Cross Beat episode show that you arebright because when the negative emotions were amplified, Towa is affected to it like everyone else, but not Rinku. So Towa HAVE negative emotion inside her! I also always found sad that usually Towa said 'I'm not stupid!' But in a couple of time she said 'I am stupid', if I remember correctly always when Noa is not near, because I think Towa always listen Noa tell her that thing and now she thing Noa is right and she is really stupid. Even if I love Towa and Noa together, sonetimes I think Noa don't deserve this cute cinnamon roll called Hanamaki Towa...

I mean, she canonically tell it to Michiru, another person would pretend to be always happy and seem stupid but inside she is negative to herself. I loved when Rinku simply go t her and make her talk and cry in her harms. I think with atowa could happen the same thing

also I wanna emphasize that while I love the crepe scene, the one I was actually referring to when I said, I cling to Towa-Rinku from First mix was when Towa called Rinku in Ep. 12 during Rinku and Muni's "training". That's what told me that Rinku and Towa were actually friends and the lunch scene wasn't just a one-off interaction.
I'm writing a fanfic myself. It starts with Rinku meating a Peaky P-key stan on her way home, who beats her up and breaks her. This will, of course, happen before Road to D4Fes Chapter 2, which has the tension of its conflict intensified as a result. This idea was inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh GX and RWBY, both of which have scenes where the protagonist is broken. So, I ask you, can you break Rinku? If so, what would your take on the idea look like?
I don't think it's impossible. For example, It happened in first mix with Muni and her fighting. I don't know if a peaky fan would do it tho, cuz she's a fan of peaky herself. In my own fanfic, she was broken (but she tried to hide it) by losing happy around (they didn't die they just disbanded).
@chorki4801 My idea has the stan going on about how amateurish Happy Around is and how their struggles up to D4Fes Day 6 were in vain by virtue of being in the same contest with Peaky P-key, as well as the fact that they'll always be picked as a favourite over Happy Around. He'll essentially use Rinku's awareness of how great Peaky is against her and twist her worldview with it. Naturally, in true D4DJ fashion, the recovery process would involve Rinku learning that there will always be petty haters when you gain a following and it's best to focus on the part that genuinely loves you and wants you to improve. Rinku won't be her old self again after this incident, but she will be a more mature and thick-skinned version of herself. (Kinda like Jaden Yuki post-S3)

Towa, like the cinnamon roll that she is, has layers, and that makes her very compelling :)
