bee there is no male and female pronouns in the korean language, no he/she or anything along those lines; you can look it up. besides that, korean is nearly impossible to accurately translate into english because it was an isolated language that doesn’t have a common root with any others. most people who created cc videos use online translators and even they just translate in a way that makes the most sense to english speakers, not in a way that’s necessarily accurate. all it takes is a few google searches to figure it out.
I have a really fascinating idea for an MV. BBC is always thinking ahead, but I still feel the need to put it out there. Going along with the theme of diversity but going even further, I imagine the MV could be set in a school. It could either be a regular American style school, or a fancy looking school to represent Eden. The MV starts in the cafeteria. There are students of varying genders, and all different colors, races, sizes. The LOONA members will all have outfits with details relating to their animals/colors/anything related to the altered timeline. The girls will all be at different places in the cafeteria, some with friends, some alone. Something important to add would be scenes of both males and females hanging out in co-ed groups, as this promotes even more diversity. A few shots will show this scene during the intro adlibs. (Random idea: All the LOONA members could wear their specific color version of Odd Eye Circle's school uniforms from SCL, although I think having personalized outfits for each member's style would be fitting) And then, going with the theme of curiosity, Kim Lip is the first member shown. As the song starts the song she begins to feel different. She starts looking toward someone walking away from the food area, and it's Yves. She can't help but notice her somehow. And then throughout the rest of the song, this curious theme will continue. The girls, while all in separate places at first in the cafeteria, will be fascinated by each other as they begin to notice they are drawn together by an unknown force, which is the LOONAverse. Certain items and gestures will make them curious about each other. The members will start walking by each other in the hallways and throughout the school, making unexpected eye contact at times and noticing something is different. Some of them may be in the same classes but sitting in different places, yet are suddenly curious about this classmate (a fellow LOONA member). And then, something even more interesting starts to unfold. Other students will begin to notice each other, and maybe some of the LOONA members as well. They'll feel connected and they won't even know why, but they're so curious. Obviously lots of symbolisms would be used from the lore to connect everyone 😄 By the end, LOONA will connect with all of the students in the school and it will end with a huge dance scene outside of the school with all of the students (could be around 20 for the sake of the video, but that's up to a director). I think it's a beautiful opportunity to showcase diversity once again, as it solidifies their message in Butterfly but in a completely different way.
