- How to install a heavy duty 25 foot telescoping flagpole in your yard. I added natural edge flower bed landscaping around the flagpole as well. This is an easy DIY front or backyard project you can complete in two half days. If you want to know how to install a flagpole in your yard this video will show you how easy it is. Love your videos. I'm a new home owner and really love what you do on your channel. Gave me a lot of great ideas I would like to do that my wife would love. I just wanted to let you know to make sure there is a light on the flag at nights unless your taking it down every night. Something I learned from being in the service. I worked at the local port authority and noticed that Obama was flying he flag half-staff the Saturday before Easter in 2015 and many offices failed to re-erect it before the Holiday. I didn’t know for sure if that was bad flag flying etiquette, or just a slight against the Christian faith.

i didn't get the solar light for it. but i can always put one on . if i want >> The cement mixer if for big jobs >> not for small jobs like a FLAG POLE 🤣🤣 Come on man all i used was 2 bags of ready mix. hard concert, water, a wheel barrel, and a hand scoop
I got the Aluminum heavy duty 20' telescoping flagpole So all i have to do is lower it and clip the flag on it with NO ROPES ~ I want it to be short and stocky looking with a over size flag

Im not a big fan of telescoping flagpoles. I just love the old flagpoles with rope
I'm putting in a 30 footer next week and I'm going to use that fast setting quikrette in the red bag, all you have to do is pour it in the hole and add water. I was thinking of a telescopic pole but have read to many complaints about them sliding down and having to constantly readjust it.
I’m looking at getting a kit from them but how can I put the flag at half-staff , when occasions arise, if there is no pulley system.
My wife won't let me. We have one on the house and she thinks it would "look tacky". So if anybody knows a good divorce lawyer, let me know.

How do you Half Staff? Since lowering pole is still full staff only shorter. Hang a tassle (not sure actual term for it)?

Added a flag pole to my yard a few years ago. It never gets old pulling in the drive and seeing old glory. I did put a coin at the base, and a match and built in ball up top
You could literally do, fix, or build anything and it would be entertaining. Just off the top of my head...

I’ve got 2 poles on my property and I light them with the solar lights that sit on top of the pole under the ball. It looks like a flat disc. They work great

Thanks for putting this up. I have one of their flag poles, the 30 footer,have not gotten to put it up yet do to an incident that involved a ladder going one way and me the other. Concussion is healed now waiting on the elbow surgery to heal. The flag pole will be the next project and it does not involve me climbing a ladder so 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
