You can fix a laptop screen without a BACKLIGHT

Here I demonstrate the circuit that helped me fix the backlight problem on a laptop. I would do it differently now, but basically I had to put two boards together, one drives the LCD matrix and the other drives the LED light!
At the moment, I would check if the LEDs are working and if it is so, then I would solder two jumpers on the driver PCB, one is responsible for the on/off position, the other for the brightness.
