Or that she didn't find out from him but because she saw Paris in an email subject and thought he was surprising her with a trip is just...not possible if you have even basic understanding on emotions and relationships. He made a *major* life changing decision that affected both of them and their relationship and then when she got understandably upset, he doubled down and called her 'unreasonable'? If you're not going to discuss something like this with your girlfriend/boyfriend/partner *before* you make a decision, then you're saying their opinion and point of view don't matter when planning your future either separate or together. The fact that he then *belittled* her and was so cold and cavalier to almost appear superior or something doesn't bode well either. He didn't ask her because he was probably worried she might break up with him and he wanted to keep her around as long as possible before he moved. Yes, he *applied* for the position before he met her, but then why start a relationship without at least making her *aware* that it might only be temporary because you applied for an overseas position? Because you didn't want to give her information that may mean she chooses not to date you in case you didn't get it? Or that she might not want to get attached to him if he was only going to leave if he *did* get the job? He seems to be both a gaslighter and a fan of lying by omission.

The man is absolutely wrong at not discussing with her prior, but still she has no right to destroy his appartment for this reason. She is too aware of her beauty, too self-centered.
Assume he is well educated and well behaved, he would have discussed the job offer with his girl friend first. He did not. So perhaps he wanted to break up but could not say it first. Otherwise, his EQ is not that high and he will not be a good husband or good executive in his job. If I am looking for a manager for my firm, I won’t hire him.
