This confession scene is so special and not because of the kiss, but because Arthit lays down all his insecurities infront of kongpob, and the fact that future with him will be very uncertain and then kongpob's confidence in him makes him confident. It's such a beautiful potrayal of how accepting that someone can love you can be difficult too. One of my all time favourite scenes.
"how accepting that someone can love you can be difficult too" I couldn't agree more with this, we all strive to be in love but sometimes it's hard to believe that someone could truly love us, along with all our imperfections and insecurities and that someone will still chose to stay despite all the uncertainties and difficulties we'll go through in life. This drama was indeed able to depict that through this scene.
This drama is what we call a well played "slow burn". No kissing until the end but the chemistry and dynamics of the relationship carried it all the way here and still make it enjoyable to watch.

Watching BL series didn't have kissing scene until you reach episode13 but still you love the whole series. Yes we exist. Sotus is a legendary, superior and Queen of all BL series.
Arthit really is more of a doer than a talker. His language of love, rather than words, is through actions. Notice how he invited Kong out of the blue without explaining anything, treated him affectionately, then gave him his food to show that he cares? It’s lovely.

I Love Love Love Kongpob's Character because unlike other characters in BLs he does not chases after Arthit non-stop stalking him or harassing him or forcing himself upon him or compelling him in any way to love him back. He just confesses his love truthfully and when Arthit doesn't responds he decides to give up, yet when Arthit invited him to eat along he respectfully pouring water for Arthit and kept walking behind him, following him quietly never asking or questioning him or losing his patience or getting angry at him. Really hats off to people who wrote such a character and also Singto for performing it with such finesse.
I love it when Arthit was listing out his faults and Kongpob was just looking at him lovingly and just smiling because _damn, those were the things that made me love you_
Because namtan said pink doesn't suit u .....it shows how easily he gets influence by things ...that later mentioned in novel when he met kong's father nd realised kongpob deserve someone better
the way Arthit says that stuff about himself, and the "can you accept who i am?" he sounds so small. like he cant believe someone IS interested in him.
The whole Namtarn thing pretty much wrecked him. He really didn't believe there would be someone who accepted him with all his faults and hurts. Kongpob caught him off guard, I think.
I like it even more that Kong is only like this with Arthit. I mean he seems very reserved with everyone else and quite shy too but with Arthit he completely changes.
After the confession where arthit walks away and kong is trying to grab his hand and he repeatedly pushes him away playfully cz he is embarrassed and shy .. its so cute 🥺
I just want to appreciate this BL series because everything here has taken their time. It doesn't have fast storyline unlike others. I love how they show the development of their relationship in every episode.
They probably didn’t eat at the wedding because they were hurt/sad or Arthit just I used it as an excuse to spend time with Kong (alone) plus going out to eat or eating together is something they’ve done before, so it’s more comfortable for them 😊😌

I found this in 2018. I was here in 2019. I came back in 2020. Again came back in 2021 Again in 2023 Again here I am in 2024. I'm making this a tradition. I survive a year. I re-watch Sotus. It's 2025, January. And I.....Came back.
Can't stress enough how good the series is. From 2gether to sotus I call that a self development. The acting is so natural. They didn't made anything look dramatic to seek audience attention or intentionally put any cuteness. They are just naturally charming. I don't know with whom I can fangirl in twitter about how amazing the show is so yes going to scream in comments
Sotus became popular for many reason. No rush for the kissing part, it just took time to really endure the pain. I'm envious for the both MLs that confession had me, this plot, the characters got me. I just cant believe it's been 5 years.. and they are still 2gether :]!
I will never get over SOTUS. I always think that I've found some other show that's my new favorite, but then I rewatch SOTUS and I just cannot replace it. Not Lovely Writer. Not He's Coming To Me. Not even Tale of 1000 Stars. All beautiful wonderful shows but SOTUS just has something indescribably special.

I have watched a lot of BL series even all those from Gmmtv, 2gether, Fish upon the Sky, 1000 stars, etc etc. But i was never this happy, and had these butterflies in my stomach, the love in my heart while seeing two guys kissing and confessing. This SOTUS is ultimately my no. 1. Thank god i clicked on this. I am going to officially declare that these two are my babies.
I love how kongpob never forgets to be polite even when in painfully awkward situation like that. he still poured water for arthit eventhough he must have felt really uncomfortable, and we can see that arthit likes that about kongpob, with how he looks at kongpob so fondly. I also love how kongpob immediately turn back to his easygoing, flirty personality once arthit accepts him. the scene where he teasingly poking arthit after their kiss is soo natural and adorable! These little moments are what make me love season 1 more than season 2, because they feel really genuine, realistic and natural. we can really see kongpob's stubornness and immaturity behind his calm appearance, and arthit's kindness and caring personality behind his rough appearance. in season 2 both of them lost their character dimension and feel a bit "flat", which is such a shame.
I love the dynamics of these two characters. You see that Kongpop is very proactive and headstrong most of the times. But then there are also times where the "age gap" between him and Arthit shows. Like in this episode where Kongpop starts to be uncertain of their relationship and backs away but Arthit takes control and acts very much like a senior.

But before that, especially because Kongpop just got out of high school and Arthit has been in University for a while, the age gap is strong enough for them to have a different view of life. My own beliefs.
Arthit just didn't want Kong to decline and he didn't want to have the big conversation at the wedding. Also, he knew Kong would go with him if he asked.

5 years later, this series still has this strength to make my heart beat quickly and gently, you feel the love between two people that is so strong that you forget for a moment that you are single. Their chemistry is so strong that it can make you think you're in love without having someone. ❤❣❣❣❣❣❤
MU DI TA This is actually one of the best series I’ve ever come across. Everything about it is on point. The acting, the ost nor the editing is too cringe. The story line is amazing too. They don’t ruin it by putting a bunch of “sex” scenes well not “sex” exactly.

Pink Milk and Rama VIII Bridge are just iconic, they made it iconic for me and all bl fans. I also love Yizhan, BrightWin, and MileApo, but KristSingto is special on a whole lot of levels and resides in my heart first💜.
The wedding episodes are my favorite in the whole series. The emotional range shown by the two remarkable young actors who play Arthit and Kong really is heartwarming. The looks they give each other tugs at one's heartstrings. One can actually feel their love and yearning for each other in their eyes. The actor who plays Arthit is especially good at expressing his feelings and emotions with his eyes throughout the series. Even though this is a love story between two young men, because of the sensitive acting of the two leads it seems perfectly natural. In fact, it's more beautiful than that between a man and a woman.
"You know right, I'm a guy...you're also guy" 5:50 I could see Kongpob was preparing for a rejection here. The rollercoaster of emotions displayed by Singto in this bridge scene was superb. The dialogue between the two were spectacular. Arthit laying out his faults and insecurities is kinda heartwrenching. Makes me think he doesn't believe he's worthy of romantic love. The surprised kiss, the shyness afterward, KP playfulness. I love this scene so much. 🥰🥰
He didn't believe he was worthy of romantic love because the whole Namtarn thing pretty much wrecked him. Kongpob gave him hope that all was not lost, even though he (Kongpob) had pretty much given up at that point, and our Arthit was just trying to understand himself and his feelings until the kiss, and Kongpob was blatantly passive-aggressive by that point and felt like he was being emotionally toyed with. Our Arthit spent all that time really just trying to figure himself out. They say you can't give your heart to someone properly until you love yourself, first. His was such an incredible journey from brain to heart. Anyway, that's what I think. :)

This scene. This scene, as much as I love other Thai dramas and as much as I love other confession scenes, is what forever solidified Sotus as my favorite series. Literally knowing I was getting closer too it gave my heart butterflies, and I still feel every emotion through this whole part.
All of these things that Arthit lists about himself: that he likes pink milk, that he has a short temper, that he oversleeps -- they're things that ruin his image as Head Hazer, but they're also exactly why Kongpob is in love with him. Like -- part of what Kongpob fell in love with was the contradiction between Head Hazer Arthit and Certified Soft Boi™ Arthit. He fell in love with the man who was hiding behind the image of a Head Hazer, not with the image itself.

I will never get over SOTUS. I always think that I've found some other show that's my new favorite, but then I rewatch SOTUS and I just cannot replace it. Not Lovely Writer. Not He's Coming To Me. I love how kongpob never forgets to be polite even when in painfully awkward situation like that. he still poured water for arthit eventhough he must have felt really uncomfortable, and we can see that arthit likes that about kongpob, with how he looks at kongpob so fondly.
I also love how kongpob immediately turn back to his easygoing, flirty personality once arthit accepts him. the scene where he teasingly poking arthit after their kiss is soo natural and adorable! These little moments are what make me love season 1 more than season 2, because they feel really genuine, realistic and natural. we can really see kongpob's stubornness and immaturity behind his calm appearance, and arthit's kindness and caring personality behind his rough appearance. in season 2 both of them lost their character dimension and feel a bit "flat", which is such a shame.

I love the dynamics of these two characters. You see that Kongpop is very proactive and headstrong most of the times. But then there are also times where the "age gap" between him and Arthit shows. Like in this episode where Kongpop starts to be uncertain of their relationship and backs away but Arthit takes control and acts very much like a senior.

But before that, especially because Kongpop just got out of high school and Arthit has been in University for a while, the age gap is strong enough for them to have a different view of life. The wedding episodes are my favorite in the whole series. The emotional range shown by the two remarkable young actors who play Arthit and Kong really is heartwarming. The looks they give each other tugs at one's heartstrings. One can actually feel their love and yearning for each other in their eyes. The actor who plays Arthit is especially good at expressing his feelings and emotions with his eyes throughout the series. Even though this is a love story between two young men, because of the sensitive acting of the two leads it seems perfectly natural. In fact, it's more beautiful than that between a man and a woman.

The rollercoaster of emotions displayed by Singto in this bridge scene was superb. The dialogue between the two were spectacular. Arthit laying out his faults and insecurities is kinda heartwrenching. Makes me think he doesn't believe he's worthy of romantic love.
The surprised kiss, the shyness afterward, KP playfulness. I love this scene so much. 🥰🥰

He didn't believe he was worthy of romantic love because the whole Namtarn thing pretty much wrecked him. Kongpob gave him hope that all was not lost, even though he (Kongpob) had pretty much given up at that point, and our Arthit was just trying to understand himself and his feelings until the kiss, and Kongpob was blatantly passive-aggressive by that point and felt like he was being emotionally toyed with. Our Arthit spent all that time really just trying to figure himself out. They say you can't give your heart to someone properly until you love yourself, first. His was such an incredible journey from brain to heart.
Anyway, that's what I think. :)

This scene. This scene, as much as I love other Thai dramas and as much as I love other confession scenes, is what forever solidified Sotus as my favorite series. Literally knowing I was getting closer too it gave my heart butterflies, and I still feel every emotion through this whole part.

He fell in love with the man who was hiding behind the image of a Head Hazer, not with the image itself.
