why has this kiss scene become one of my favorites?
- dean and pharm have been plagued by memories of their past lives--and dean's been a lot more affected lately because he can even remember the name of pharm's past self. then there's also the very LITERAL red thread of fate that's binding them as they kiss--need i go on? essentially, having this reincarnation spiel/act of finding each other after tragedy prevented them from being together serving as the accompanying context to this first kiss between these two characters = top tier
- then there's also the so-called "tango" dean and pharm have been doing for the past six episodes. here, it's dean pursuing pharm, but in their past lives, pharm/in was pursuing dean/korn. they've been delicately maintaining this relationship balance, but over time, they've realized they can no longer stay away from each other. they can no longer hide the love they have for each other, so that's why destiny (!) has been pushing them together. when they let their walls down, especially pharm with those smooth-ass dessert comments of his, they no longer danced AROUND each other--they're now dancing WITH each other (and honestly if dean wrapping an arm around pharm's waist doesn't scream DANCE to anyone else imma cri)
