@@holykonchu7250 No, only the Storm Ruler buff can be applied using the bow glitch, but there's another glitch that may interest you that does just that, look it up it's called "Weapon art swap" and it's the one where you do a weapon art, swap weapons, take a step, and do a weapon art again.
@SL3DG3 Nope, if you spell swap it will only do one Wrath Of The Gods at the beginning, then you'll stay with your hand up from the Fire Surge animation but nothing will be happening.

Fun fact: I discovered myself that Heysel Pick Sacred Flame is a portable one shot, since Heysel Pick is a catalyst and a Pickaxe. I discovered myself this glitch because of a player using a character named PhD (or PxD), and then i searched for it. Ever since i started doing it about 8 months ago i questioned myself on the start if Heysel Pick would already one shot the Sacred Flame, since it is a pickaxe that 2-hit crits and a catalyst. I was right. Now the only thing i do is invade with a stealth Milkring below 30% weight build and come from nowhere one shotting hosts. Using Untrue Dark Ring and curling up with Thief Mask, Fire Keeper Robe, Desert Pyromancer Gloves and Karla's Trousers on a corner will many times let you be pretty much invisible. You can get up, cancel Farron Dart with Heysel Pick, come up to the host rolling with Carthus Milkring and do the glitch when you are near the host. They never expect it.
Nice, I would recommend to use the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring as well, it makes all your rolls 100% quiet, so people can't hear you coming as well. It also hides Tears of Denial so you can add it to your build without worrying about it giving out your location.
@@dan007d Actually, the 4 rings that i use are in order Untrue Dark Ring, Milkring, Obscuring ring and Slumbering Dargoncrest. I also have Untrue White on inverntory in case i want to cast Hidden Body and look like an apparition, Cat Ring and Favor just in case i see a ladder or i have to run a lot. Having all those rings that i mentioned on your inventory gives you a nice ring inventory that you can change easily from one to another when needed. On right hand 1 and 2 i use the Chaos Dagger and the Heysel Pick, and on the left 1 and 2 the blessed caestus and Pharis Bow. The Fire Keeper Robe doesn't show the quiver that you have with bows, so you aren't busting your own coverage with it. This with 40 VIT makes you go to 29.4% weight proportion. The only way someone can catch an experienced player with this build is if they are using headphones or playing on high volume which will make they hear the "sand noises" you make while rolling, which no one does because the game's volume is so high that on all 10 if you put your TV sound on 6 you can hear the air.
@@dan007d Also, you don't need tears of denial if you are going to one shot the host. I have 6 attunement slots and my spells are in order Farron Dart, Sacred Flame, Soothing Sunlight, Chamaleon, Hidden Body, and just in case (altough it never is used and i just put it there because i didn't have anything better) Dead Again. Any buff in this case other than tears cannot be used, since they give your character an aura.
@@dan007d Sadly, it isn't very viable at level 140. My character is SL 161 and i did that because since everybody stays on 140 because they think 120 is the meta, the meta now is pretty much 140. Because of the stats, i had to switch to Onislayer Greatbow instead of Millwood, but it works as well and it let you snipe. Using stretch out is good too, but it has an animation that takes up more time. On Pontiff's Bonfire (aka Gank City) where the Deacon's keep spamming fireballs on you there are a lot of bushes that you can hide very well within. Anyways, it is indeed a great build, and i can only think of how hard the hosts get scared when i just pop out of nowhere with their death on my hands, but i will give anyone who see this message 4 tips: 1- "Don't expect the place near the Gravetender's to be have good hiding spots, you are black and everythig there is white." 2- "You can do this on arena but it isn't safe to one shot, so just use the dagger to backstab." 3- "Switch region matchmaking to on, you can Black Crystal invasions if you see cereal box 2ping 0pak internet." 4- "this build is nuclear on untended graves."
A lot of research and knowledge about previous gliches went into discovering all these things. Wouldn't have been possible without the members of the Souls Glitchcord Server!
And if you cast Farron Flashsword three times the third will double cast spells at the same, so you can cast two Wrath Of The Gods at the same time, and trust me it is very loud XD
Honestly, I didn’t see this video I found the Onikiri stance myself and I thought I was so cool finding a hidden/secret stance. ALSO I didn’t watch the entire video but you can sharpen the black knight greataxe from any boss unique weapon art!
One last question; can you use this to inflict enemies with status effects without hitting them, such as by applying Carthus Rogue or Poison Resin to something like the Lothric War Banner
There's actually a way to apply a bleed effect to the War Banner buff, but it only works against your teammates and it doesn't involve the bow glitch, it's a frame perfect weapon art swap. The tutorial is in my bow glitch video part 2
Yeah that's the annoying part, even if you die on an arena match you will still lose it. My best advice will be to have the armor easily accessible to do it in between invasions

I've been using mad preacher's arm casting farron hail, swapping to crystal weapon back stepping swapping arm to my crystal infused onikiri & ubidachi and doing the backstep , r1+r2+ forward and I've been holding a pretty good buff on infused weapons
@@dan007d well, I'd disagree, the crystal infused and buffed onikiri is just okay, but I also did a 30/30/30/30 build and did dark infusions. One of the more noteable ways I found is doing the deep protection miracle into the Crystal buff on my dark exiled curve sword and I'm hitting over 1000 ar
@@abyss5469 Yeah it's still a nice buff but you get much more out of it in low levels, try a Dark Hand with Dark Blade at SL9, or Deep infused weapons with Dark Blade at SL9. Those things are a monster!
just noticed something. Everything that works with the farron parry also works with the Yorshka's spear WA, like the weird darkmoon buff on the dagger and all Also, doing that and switching between the two weapons will only perform their respective WA. For example if you do Yorshka's WA then switch to Farron and do the glitch, it will only trigger the regular parry animation. I'm investigating to see what's the link between both of them, and if there is any other weapon in that case Edit : The lothric war banner does the same, maybe it's common to all WA that can "buff" the weapon, but then why does it not works with the Greataxes, and why does it works with Farron, which is not a buuf. Also, I noticed that the dagger buff does damage when you walk forward.
From my understanding there's like 10+ classes of weapon arts Some types are: *-Stance* (you hold your weapon then do R1 or R2) *-Stomp* (poise weapon arts that follow up to a launch R2) *-Spin* (spin combos, like sellsword, exile) *-Attack/Self buff* (Estoc L2, War Banner L2, Farron L2, or any weapon that just does the weapon art without any follow up R1 or R2) *-Catalyst buff* (talisman regen and staff buff) Each weapon in the game has a move for each class but only has one active when you press L2, the inactive ones are just set to a default move. Except the ones that have a cut move, for example the Onikiri and Ubadachi, it has the normal weapon art where you jump when you press L2 but it also has a scrapped weapon art where you hold a stance, what we're doing is swap a stance from any weapon to force trigger it in the Onikiri and Ubadachi with the glitch. So what matters when swapping isn't the first weapon but the weapon art class of the first weapon. What we're doing is looking for a scrapped weapon art that the developers intended for a weapon, decided it didn't fit in the game but didn't remove, just made it inaccessible by changing what weapon art class the weapon does when pressing L2.
So when you swap weapon arts from the same class all you're doing is triggering the weapon art that's already set to trigger when you hit L2, nothing extraordinary happens. The most extraordinary thing that would happen is that since you're forcing the weapon art and not doing it normally, the game can get kinda confused and allow you to move during the weapon art, like the walking estus glitch I showed in the video. I chose to show Farron's parry only because it's the easiest and quickest one, and it doesn't costume any FP at all. It's perfect!
The weapon art classes are the same as the Weapon Art Swap Glitch ones (Onyx Blade buff on Follower Sabres) Remember how you could only weapon art swap weapons with similar weapon arts? That's exactly what's going on here. This is the list of some weapon art classes I found on a post: (There's more than that) Group A Crescent Moon Sword, Dragonslayer Greataxe, Dragonslayer's Sword Spear, Pontiff Knight Scythe, Rose of Ariandel, Estoc, Lothric War Banner, Wolnir's Holy Sword, Tailbone Short Spear, Tailbone Dagger, Moonlight Greatsword, Firelink Greatsword, Yorshka's Spear, Butcher's Knife, Eleonora, Bloodlust, Follower's Torch, Follower's Javelin, Crossbows with Shoulder Thrust WA, Irithyll Rapier, Farron Greatsword, Immolation Tinder. Very nice but i can't hold any stance - Onikiri - Millwood GB switched to scythe aka Edgelord - Broken halberd animations - And even the Storm Ruler stance with other weapons help
Ok let's start of with the Onikiri and Ubadachi stance... Have a bow in your left hand, two hand a Katana, *hold* L2 to do the stance, while still holding L2 backstep and quickly release the L2 so you don't end up doing an accidental stance after the backstep. Then without walking go in your inventory and swap the Katana for the Onikiri and Ubadachi, close the menu, backstep, and in the middle of that backstep *hold* L2 and walk forward at the same time. Make sure you hold them and keep holding them before the backstep animation finishes, and it should work.
@@dan007d Oh yeah now it works, i see my error now. I was holding the katana stance, stopping it and then i go in my inventory, i wasn't doing a backstep, thanks.
So, I'm trying to get the Fire Surge to Fire Whip combo going, but all I ever do is put my pyromancy flame up for only a moment, and then it's put back down again. I can combine other spells and pyromancies' animations, but not these two like in the video. Any ideas?

Yup you can, that's why it's not that OP, but don't call it a counter just yet! If the bow glitch user is skilled enough he will know how to fight against that, remember the spell will be queued as long as you don't take a step, so he can roll and roll and roll waiting for an opening, and when he finds it he can infinite stunlock you in an instant. That's why knowing how this glitch works is important, so that you can be prepared for anything.
It actually suddenly disappears, I've done the testing and it seems like there's a moment where it can't keep going anymore, and the whole Shiv unloads
So if I used the glitch to put blessed weapon on my blessed lothric knight greatsword, would the regen scale because the weapon scales with faith? Or would the regen be 1 per sec because the spellbuff is
Never mind after rewatching it a couple times I realize you have to start the shooting animation with the repeating crossbow before you cancel the weapon art. That's what I was doing wrong.
@@cascade4661 What are you doing wrong? When you try to use the Dragon Torso Stone, are you doing it too early and not dropping off a ledge to cancel it? Or is it the last part when you're doing the bow glitch? Remember that when you're putting on armor you can't walk at all, you need to stand still.
I'm still confused on the beginning where you roll hold L2+ walk, I end up doing that and walking but it seems like I'm not doing it right, I do it right and wrong sometimes and I don't know if I'm doing it right
So you backsteb, and in the middle of the backsteb hold L2 and walk. Also remember you can't walk before the last step so make sure you're standing still the whole time.
And if you're rolling first, remember that when you roll you have to move the joystick forwards first, so that can mess up the glitch since you walked slightly. Backstebs are recommended
@@user-op1rf9xf8r It can escape the Splitleaf infinite if you have your back turned, but there are better ways to escape it other than using the bow. Nope, it cannot escape the Fire Whip infinite.
I think I know what you're doing wrong, so this is a more detailed explanation: With the storm ruler two handed and a bow in your left hand, hold L2, backstep out and in that backstep animation release L2 (You don't want to accidentally store the animation where you put the weapon down after releasing L2), then without walking go in your menu and swap the Storm Ruler for any weapon, exit the menu, backstep and in the middle of that backstep hold L2 and walk, make sure you're already *holding* those two buttons before the backstep animation ends, and just continue holding L2 until the Storm Ruler effect appears on your weapon.
Playing with lag is even worse, much worse in fact, and from what I'm seeing lag is what's actually killing the game at the moment. If there's a tech to deal with laggy players like the bow glitch then I don't mind its use in PvP at all. It's only making the scale a bit more even.

Ahh yes, you uploaded that video showcasing the bug many people were complaining about. If I remember correctly I moved some spikes around hoping that would somehow fix it, I was never able to replicate the bug so it still remains a mystery if that was ever fixed or not XD
Do the bow weapon art I did in the video, cancel it *immediately* by backstepping, go in your inventory and remove the right hand bow from your inventory so you only end up with the left hand bow and nothing in your right hand, backstep and hold L2 and walk, and right when the glitched animation starts playing stop walking right away so the rest of the animation plays out correctly.
I did it, it works great The question is 'is there any way to roll/move forward? Cuz I've seen videos of people roll forward and able to continue the glitch
As long as you don't physically take a step the glitch will never go away, so you can backstep and roll for as long as you want if you don't actually walk. Btw have in mind that if you just roll normally out of standing still there's a good chance your character will take a small step before rolling, so do a backstep before you start spamming roll
I really didn't explain it much because it goes the same way as all the others. You hold L2 and hold your joystick forward in the middle of the backstep animation, so you can do it in the first exact frame you come out of the backsteb. So, you use the Dragon Torso Stone, cancel it by either falling off a ledge or getting hit, without moving your character put on any armor you want, then when you're done do a backsteb and hold L2 and walk, and the Torso Stone should trigger automatically right when you come out of the backstep
@@junoglrr9119 You hold L2 and walk in the middle of the backstep animation, so talking about how to spell swap. You cast a spell, while in the animation of that spell you toggle to the second spell, immediately roll when the animation is over and in the middle of that roll you hold L2 and walk, make sure you hold it, not just press it once.
The way the bow glitch works is, the last animation you perform will be stored in memory as long as you don't take a step, so if you cast a spell, stand still for as long as you want, then backstep (backstep because to roll out of standing still you need to move the joystick a little and that will make your character slightly move) and in the middle of the backstep start holding L2 and walk, you will automatically cast that spell again, and no, your character doesn't physically walks, that's just how the glitch works, make sure your character doesn't take a step or the stored spell will go away

Timing seems really wonky and I can’t say your instructions are all that clear. Does this not work with certain weapon types or on the most recent patch? Can anyone help me out with this? My character keeps two handing the bow.
DanMaster007 instead of L2 and Walk (I assume this is for PC which has a dedicated walk button) maybe say L2 and move forward. Also emphasize that this has to be done before the backstep/roll animation is complete, otherwise you’ll end up two handing the bow.
For some reason in some areas because of lower frames you can't roll immediately, but in places like High Wall all you have to do is start shooting the bolts but roll as soon as possible

The Shiv one is not working for.. I tried it with fire infusion as you said but it's not popping up like the other ones do.. Any idea why? I was in the same area in just in case if that's the reason..

That's the very first thing we tested but nope, no boss invasions :( Miyazaki in his last patch changed the Homeward spell so it's linked with the player's ID, so the spell can't be triggered no matter what at the second "invading another world" message. So yeah, that gets completely blocked out, we're looking for other ways to boss invade but no luck yet...
A lot of questions have been asked in the comments, I'd recommend to read them and see if you can find what you're looking for, if not then tell me and I'll do my best to explain to you :D

Hmm it shouldn't be hard, I will leave a more detailed explanation here, hope it helps: Do the Composite Bow weapon art, cancel it *immediately* by backstepping, go in your inventory and remove the right hand bow from your inventory so you end up with a bow in your left hand and bare fists in the right, backsteb and hold L2 and walk, and right when the glitched animation starts playing stop moving right away so the animation plays out correctly.
When doing a tumble buff glitch with a spell, do the spell buff have to be the same type of magic as the first spell you use? (Type of magic as in pyromancy, sorcery, and miracle)
@@feeharn5531 Remember to not take a step while in your menu or it will overwrite the spell and mess up the glitch, and also, after you close your menu, backstep instead of rolling out of standing still.
That one should be the easiest, only thing that I see you could be doing wrong is storing the wrong animation, make sure that when you're holding the stance weapon, you don't ever put it down, or else it will store the "putting down animation" and you won't be able to hold the stance.

Well is because it's as easy as I describe it, all you do is do an action, roll and hold L2 and walk forward, then that animation will automatically repeat which can lead to a lot of glitches. But you can't physically walk because the action that's queued on memory will go away, I say "L2 + walk" because you need to hold forward to do the glitch, that's how it works, but your character doesn't physically take a step.

R1 is the button you use for light attacks, L2 is the button you use to parry. I don't think I mentioned any other PS4 controller button, if I did tell me
Yeah I was looking back at this video and I didn't explain it very well, you have to do he weapon art and start shooting the arrows, you can do what I did and roll immediately after to cancel it. And after that swap to the Greatbow backstep and *hold* L2 + walk in the middle of the backstep animation.
Is the great bow machine gun glitch still possible ? Every time I try it it just puts the great bow up and then down again like it’s trying to start and then it cancels
Ahh that's a great question, they didn't show very well with the bow glitch so I had to use another method to hold them, which was discovered way before the bow glitch. It's Homeward Holding, if you look at my spells I have Homeward on the spell slots. So what you do is, run forward, use Homeward but cancel the teleport by jumping, put a Greatbow in your off-hand and two-hand it, press R2, open your menu and swap the Greatbow for an infused weapon. If Homeward was done correctly the R2 should be held by itself after releasing it so you can go in your menu and swap things around. Here's a video of it in action: ruclips.net/video/INcN0FGttSg/видео.html This glitch is weird, if you press R2 it will be locked until you press L2, and vice-versa. So if you find that you're pressing R2 and nothing is happening try to press L2, that should unlock it.
It's using the spell buff of whatever you have equipped. If you cast a spell with an off-hand catalyst, then swap that catalyst for a bow and do the bow glitch it will use the spell buff of the bow. If you cast a spell with a main-hand catalyst, then swap that catalyst to whatever weapon you want to tumble buff, it will use the spell buff of that weapon.
DanMaster007 Oh I see. So you’re not gonna get super high damage using this glitch cuz it applies the weakest form of any buff spell like dmb. Kinda lame to be honest but oh well. It’s more for the edge lords 😎

Fun fact: I discovered myself that Heysel Pick Sacred Flame is a portable one shot, since Heysel Pick is a catalyst and a Pickaxe.
I discovered myself this glitch because of a player using a character named PhD (or PxD), and then i searched for it. Ever since i started doing it about 8 months ago i questioned myself on the start if Heysel Pick would already one shot the Sacred Flame, since it is a pickaxe that 2-hit crits and a catalyst. I was right.
Now the only thing i do is invade with a stealth Milkring below 30% weight build and come from nowhere one shotting hosts.
Using Untrue Dark Ring and curling up with Thief Mask, Fire Keeper Robe, Desert Pyromancer Gloves and Karla's Trousers on a corner will many times let you be pretty much invisible. You can get up, cancel Farron Dart with Heysel Pick, come up to the host rolling with Carthus Milkring and do the glitch when you are near the host. They never expect it.
Nice, I would recommend to use the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring as well, it makes all your rolls 100% quiet, so people can't hear you coming as well. It also hides Tears of Denial so you can add it to your build without worrying about it giving out your location.
@@dan007d Actually, the 4 rings that i use are in order Untrue Dark Ring, Milkring, Obscuring ring and Slumbering Dargoncrest. I also have Untrue White on inverntory in case i want to cast Hidden Body and look like an apparition, Cat Ring and Favor just in case i see a ladder or i have to run a lot. Having all those rings that i mentioned on your inventory gives you a nice ring inventory that you can change easily from one to another when needed.
On right hand 1 and 2 i use the Chaos Dagger and the Heysel Pick, and on the left 1 and 2 the blessed caestus and Pharis Bow. The Fire Keeper Robe doesn't show the quiver that you have with bows, so you aren't busting your own coverage with it.
This with 40 VIT makes you go to 29.4% weight proportion.
The only way someone can catch an experienced player with this build is if they are using headphones or playing on high volume which will make they hear the "sand noises" you make while rolling, which no one does because the game's volume is so high that on all 10 if you put your TV sound on 6 you can hear the air.
@@dan007d Also, you don't need tears of denial if you are going to one shot the host. I have 6 attunement slots and my spells are in order Farron Dart, Sacred Flame, Soothing Sunlight, Chamaleon, Hidden Body, and just in case (altough it never is used and i just put it there because i didn't have anything better) Dead Again.
Any buff in this case other than tears cannot be used, since they give your character an aura.

@@dan007d Sadly, it isn't very viable at level 140. My character is SL 161 and i did that because since everybody stays on 140 because they think 120 is the meta, the meta now is pretty much 140. Because of the stats, i had to switch to Onislayer Greatbow instead of Millwood, but it works as well and it let you snipe. Using stretch out is good too, but it has an animation that takes up more time. On Pontiff's Bonfire (aka Gank City) where the Deacon's keep spamming fireballs on you there are a lot of bushes that you can hide very well within.
Anyways, it is indeed a great build, and i can only think of how hard the hosts get scared when i just pop out of nowhere with their death on my hands, but i will give anyone who see this message 4 tips:
1- "Don't expect the place near the Gravetender's to be have good hiding spots, you are black and everythig there is white."
2- "You can do this on arena but it isn't safe to one shot, so just use the dagger to backstab."
3- "Switch region matchmaking to on, you can Black Crystal invasions if you see cereal box 2ping 0pak internet."
4- "this build is nuclear on untended graves."

There's actually a way to apply a bleed effect to the War Banner buff, but it only works against your teammates and it doesn't involve the bow glitch, it's a frame perfect weapon art swap. The tutorial is in my bow glitch video part 2
Btw, if you die in an invasion while using the dragon torso glitch, it'll go away
Yeah that's the annoying part, even if you die on an arena match you will still lose it. My best advice will be to have the armor easily accessible to do it in between invasions

I've been using mad preacher's arm casting farron hail, swapping to crystal weapon back stepping swapping arm to my crystal infused onikiri & ubidachi and doing the backstep , r1+r2+ forward and I've been holding a pretty good buff on infused weapons
Yeah the buff is raw damage so I doesn't scale with anything, extremely good in low levels but not very viable in max level.
@@dan007d well, I'd disagree, the crystal infused and buffed onikiri is just okay, but I also did a 30/30/30/30 build and did dark infusions. One of the more noteable ways I found is doing the deep protection miracle into the Crystal buff on my dark exiled curve sword and I'm hitting over 1000 ar
@@abyss5469 Yeah it's still a nice buff but you get much more out of it in low levels, try a Dark Hand with Dark Blade at SL9, or Deep infused weapons with Dark Blade at SL9. Those things are a monster!

just noticed something. Everything that works with the farron parry also works with the Yorshka's spear WA, like the weird darkmoon buff on the dagger and all
Also, doing that and switching between the two weapons will only perform their respective WA. For example if you do Yorshka's WA then switch to Farron and do the glitch, it will only trigger the regular parry animation.
I'm investigating to see what's the link between both of them, and if there is any other weapon in that case
Edit : The lothric war banner does the same, maybe it's common to all WA that can "buff" the weapon, but then why does it not works with the Greataxes, and why does it works with Farron, which is not a buuf. Also, I noticed that the dagger buff does damage when you walk forward.
From my understanding there's like 10+ classes of weapon arts
Some types are:
*-Stance* (you hold your weapon then do R1 or R2)
*-Stomp* (poise weapon arts that follow up to a launch R2)
*-Spin* (spin combos, like sellsword, exile)
*-Attack/Self buff* (Estoc L2, War Banner L2, Farron L2, or any weapon that just does the weapon art without any follow up R1 or R2)
*-Catalyst buff* (talisman regen and staff buff)
Each weapon in the game has a move for each class but only has one active when you press L2, the inactive ones are just set to a default move. Except the ones that have a cut move, for example the Onikiri and Ubadachi, it has the normal weapon art where you jump when you press L2 but it also has a scrapped weapon art where you hold a stance, what we're doing is swap a stance from any weapon to force trigger it in the Onikiri and Ubadachi with the glitch.
So what matters when swapping isn't the first weapon but the weapon art class of the first weapon. What we're doing is looking for a scrapped weapon art that the developers intended for a weapon, decided it didn't fit in the game but didn't remove, just made it inaccessible by changing what weapon art class the weapon does when pressing L2.
So when you swap weapon arts from the same class all you're doing is triggering the weapon art that's already set to trigger when you hit L2, nothing extraordinary happens.
The most extraordinary thing that would happen is that since you're forcing the weapon art and not doing it normally, the game can get kinda confused and allow you to move during the weapon art, like the walking estus glitch I showed in the video.
I chose to show Farron's parry only because it's the easiest and quickest one, and it doesn't costume any FP at all. It's perfect!
The weapon art classes are the same as the Weapon Art Swap Glitch ones (Onyx Blade buff on Follower Sabres) Remember how you could only weapon art swap weapons with similar weapon arts? That's exactly what's going on here.

Ok let's start of with the Onikiri and Ubadachi stance... Have a bow in your left hand, two hand a Katana, *hold* L2 to do the stance, while still holding L2 backstep and quickly release the L2 so you don't end up doing an accidental stance after the backstep. Then without walking go in your inventory and swap the Katana for the Onikiri and Ubadachi, close the menu, backstep, and in the middle of that backstep *hold* L2 and walk forward at the same time. Make sure you hold them and keep holding them before the backstep animation finishes, and it should work.
@@dan007d Oh yeah now it works, i see my error now. I was holding the katana stance, stopping it and then i go in my inventory, i wasn't doing a backstep, thanks.
So, I'm trying to get the Fire Surge to Fire Whip combo going, but all I ever do is put my pyromancy flame up for only a moment, and then it's put back down again. I can combine other spells and pyromancies' animations, but not these two like in the video. Any ideas?
AHH NEVERMIND, it seems I've got to also hold R1 alongside L2+Walk to do it, not just interrupt and switch to L2+Walk.

Backstep first. If you try to roll first, you usually take a step before rolling by accident, breaking the glitch
Figured out if you do the flame surge into sacred flame you just put your hand out and if anyone touches you up close they get grabbed
You can counter Someth1ng Lights infinite stunlock 4.0 by R1 spamming glitch user with any large weapon. Bonk.
Yup you can, that's why it's not that OP, but don't call it a counter just yet! If the bow glitch user is skilled enough he will know how to fight against that, remember the spell will be queued as long as you don't take a step, so he can roll and roll and roll waiting for an opening, and when he finds it he can infinite stunlock you in an instant. That's why knowing how this glitch works is important, so that you can be prepared for anything.
I would bet that there’s a chance that when the shiv disappears, it’s actually just one of the holes in the blade
It actually suddenly disappears, I've done the testing and it seems like there's a moment where it can't keep going anymore, and the whole Shiv unloads

Or is it the last part when you're doing the bow glitch? Remember that when you're putting on armor you can't walk at all, you need to stand still.

I'm still confused on the beginning where you roll hold L2+ walk, I end up doing that and walking but it seems like I'm not doing it right, I do it right and wrong sometimes and I don't know if I'm doing it right
So you backsteb, and in the middle of the backsteb hold L2 and walk. Also remember you can't walk before the last step so make sure you're standing still the whole time.
And if you're rolling first, remember that when you roll you have to move the joystick forwards first, so that can mess up the glitch since you walked slightly. Backstebs are recommended

I think I know what you're doing wrong, so this is a more detailed explanation:
With the storm ruler two handed and a bow in your left hand, hold L2, backstep out and in that backstep animation release L2 (You don't want to accidentally store the animation where you put the weapon down after releasing L2), then without walking go in your menu and swap the Storm Ruler for any weapon, exit the menu, backstep and in the middle of that backstep hold L2 and walk, make sure you're already *holding* those two buttons before the backstep animation ends, and just continue holding L2 until the Storm Ruler effect appears on your weapon.

i hate when people do this kinda stuff in pvp. i think glitch exploitation just kinda ruins it.
Playing with lag is even worse, much worse in fact, and from what I'm seeing lag is what's actually killing the game at the moment.
If there's a tech to deal with laggy players like the bow glitch then I don't mind its use in PvP at all. It's only making the scale a bit more even.

Ahh yes, you uploaded that video showcasing the bug many people were complaining about. If I remember correctly I moved some spikes around hoping that would somehow fix it, I was never able to replicate the bug so it still remains a mystery if that was ever fixed or not XD

Do the bow weapon art I did in the video, cancel it *immediately* by backstepping, go in your inventory and remove the right hand bow from your inventory so you only end up with the left hand bow and nothing in your right hand, backstep and hold L2 and walk, and right when the glitched animation starts playing stop walking right away so the rest of the animation plays out correctly.

As long as you don't physically take a step the glitch will never go away, so you can backstep and roll for as long as you want if you don't actually walk. Btw have in mind that if you just roll normally out of standing still there's a good chance your character will take a small step before rolling, so do a backstep before you start spamming roll

I really didn't explain it much because it goes the same way as all the others. You hold L2 and hold your joystick forward in the middle of the backstep animation, so you can do it in the first exact frame you come out of the backsteb.
So, you use the Dragon Torso Stone, cancel it by either falling off a ledge or getting hit, without moving your character put on any armor you want, then when you're done do a backsteb and hold L2 and walk, and the Torso Stone should trigger automatically right when you come out of the backstep

@@junoglrr9119 You hold L2 and walk in the middle of the backstep animation, so talking about how to spell swap. You cast a spell, while in the animation of that spell you toggle to the second spell, immediately roll when the animation is over and in the middle of that roll you hold L2 and walk, make sure you hold it, not just press it once.
The way the bow glitch works is, the last animation you perform will be stored in memory as long as you don't take a step, so if you cast a spell, stand still for as long as you want, then backstep (backstep because to roll out of standing still you need to move the joystick a little and that will make your character slightly move) and in the middle of the backstep start holding L2 and walk, you will automatically cast that spell again, and no, your character doesn't physically walks, that's just how the glitch works, make sure your character doesn't take a step or the stored spell will go away

If you're two handing the bow is because you're not walking, you're supposed to press L2 and walk at the same time.
DanMaster007 instead of L2 and Walk (I assume this is for PC which has a dedicated walk button) maybe say L2 and move forward.
Also emphasize that this has to be done before the backstep/roll animation is complete, otherwise you’ll end up two handing the bow.

For some reason in some areas because of lower frames you can't roll immediately, but in places like High Wall all you have to do is start shooting the bolts but roll as soon as possible

That's the very first thing we tested but nope, no boss invasions :( Miyazaki in his last patch changed the Homeward spell so it's linked with the player's ID, so the spell can't be triggered no matter what at the second "invading another world" message. So yeah, that gets completely blocked out, we're looking for other ways to boss invade but no luck yet...

This have to be implemented to the base game, it would be super fun, imagine balancing all of this(to not be super OP) and implement it

Gundyr Kick is really hard But I got a weird kick animation that wasnt gundyr's but close i did press R1 tho so is there more than just walk and L2?
Hmm it shouldn't be hard, I will leave a more detailed explanation here, hope it helps:
Do the Composite Bow weapon art, cancel it *immediately* by backstepping, go in your inventory and remove the right hand bow from your inventory so you end up with a bow in your left hand and bare fists in the right, backsteb and hold L2 and walk, and right when the glitched animation starts playing stop moving right away so the animation plays out correctly.
When doing a tumble buff glitch with a spell, do the spell buff have to be the same type of magic as the first spell you use? (Type of magic as in pyromancy, sorcery, and miracle)
Nope, you can spell swap any spell with any other spell, there are no restrictions.

@@feeharn5531 Remember to not take a step while in your menu or it will overwrite the spell and mess up the glitch, and also, after you close your menu, backstep instead of rolling out of standing still.
I can't do the Onikiri one for some reason
That one should be the easiest, only thing that I see you could be doing wrong is storing the wrong animation, make sure that when you're holding the stance weapon, you don't ever put it down, or else it will store the "putting down animation" and you won't be able to hold the stance.
@@dan007d I can't hold the stance but i do how it is in the video, choosing a katana, doing the stance, switching to onikiri and ubadachi and it doesn't work, and i have a bow in the left hand

Well is because it's as easy as I describe it, all you do is do an action, roll and hold L2 and walk forward, then that animation will automatically repeat which can lead to a lot of glitches.
But you can't physically walk because the action that's queued on memory will go away, I say "L2 + walk" because you need to hold forward to do the glitch, that's how it works, but your character doesn't physically take a step.

You don't have to do it quickly, as long as you don't take a step while in the menu, you should have unlimited time to swap

How should I exactly do the minigun milwood greatbow thing? Should I pull L2 all the time after changed the crossbow to the greatbow?
Yeah I was looking back at this video and I didn't explain it very well, you have to do he weapon art and start shooting the arrows, you can do what I did and roll immediately after to cancel it. And after that swap to the Greatbow backstep and *hold* L2 + walk in the middle of the backstep animation.

Is the great bow machine gun glitch still possible ? Every time I try it it just puts the great bow up and then down again like it’s trying to start and then it cancels
When you have Gael's Crossbow you need to actually shoot the arrows, not just put the Crossbow up. So L2 and R1

Nah I just like to have my bow broken to symbolize that the bow glitch is broken XD you can do it without any issues with a normal bow

im trying to do the visual ones at the end and confused on the ones where the weapon is in the opposite hand, could you explain how to do it that way?
Ahh that's a great question, they didn't show very well with the bow glitch so I had to use another method to hold them, which was discovered way before the bow glitch.
It's Homeward Holding, if you look at my spells I have Homeward on the spell slots. So what you do is, run forward, use Homeward but cancel the teleport by jumping, put a Greatbow in your off-hand and two-hand it, press R2, open your menu and swap the Greatbow for an infused weapon. If Homeward was done correctly the R2 should be held by itself after releasing it so you can go in your menu and swap things around.

This glitch is weird, if you press R2 it will be locked until you press L2, and vice-versa. So if you find that you're pressing R2 and nothing is happening try to press L2, that should unlock it.

So when you apply a buff like lightning blade using this glitch, is it using the spell buff of the pyro flame?
It's using the spell buff of whatever you have equipped.
If you cast a spell with an off-hand catalyst, then swap that catalyst for a bow and do the bow glitch it will use the spell buff of the bow.
If you cast a spell with a main-hand catalyst, then swap that catalyst to whatever weapon you want to tumble buff, it will use the spell buff of that weapon.
DanMaster007 Oh I see. So you’re not gonna get super high damage using this glitch cuz it applies the weakest form of any buff spell like dmb. Kinda lame to be honest but oh well. It’s more for the edge lords 😎
