@@miamore6046 In most of the world, including the Philippines, the legal is 18. SO AGAIN, 21 IS VERY MUCH AN ADULT :) Also, she was few weeks to turning 22 when she got pregnant, my own mother was same age when she had our eldest. Now, our eldest (who became a mother at age 26) is working and living a good life in Singapore :))
@@truthoverliesalways4667 well your right it's not early. She's a consenting adult But she is an actress - had an image of prim and proper young lady in her TV characters. And she's the one the young generations look up to. Unfortunately she got impregnated without getting married first-hand then the youngs are like okay it is normal to go get pregnant early without getting married. You STOP NORMALIZING that shit.
@@miamore6046 Her young fans knows that Janella is a responsible adult and she NEVER ENCOURAGED anyone to get pregnant w/out marriage. And as a fan, I am VERY PROUD that she CHOSE TO PROTECT A HUMAN LIFE than her own image :)
Are we glorifying early and unplanned pregnancies with stories like her and Sofia Andres? No hate intended, but I really wonder about the example we are setting for the youth. Teenage pregnancy is already high in the country. Also, what future will these children have with unprepared parents?
We should glorify good mothers. Good parents. Good people. Yes, marriage is a holy thing. But is that the only criteria of being highlighted by media or praised by anyone? There are many mother's out there that are still married etc and are by book in the right yet are bad mothers. Don't judge Janella or other moms who are not married yet. You do not own their journey nor been in their shoes that put them in their position.
I do not think that age 22 should be considered as an early pregnancy because for one, that makes her a consenting adult. The legal age in our country is age 18. Two, she has her life together at that age. She is capable of bearing, fostering, and supporting a child. She is pretty much secure. Even the child’s future is secure. She has been living by herself with her own house at age 18. Unprepared? I don’t think so. To relate her situation on teenage pregnancy just because of your conservative nature is just unfair. She’s 22. An adult capable of thinking and deciding for her own. I’d understand if you’ll pin her down for that if she’s just 18. But no, she is a thinking adult when she had Jude.
No we're not, we are glorifying responsible mothers.... Anyway it is not her responsibility to teach teens regarding teenage pregnancy, it's the role of the parents. Despite what they have seen on tv or movies, the parents should be always there for guidance. The problem right now is you blame everything on what you see on tv when you as an adult should be the one that's teaching them about life.
