FANTASTIC MAC! Just listening to Third Day Station on Amazon Music while I'm working today. Your music is a blessing and feeds my soul! God bless you and your family reunion!! Our Lord has brought you back into all of our lives, we are grateful.
For all the Negative Nancys on here... Mac Powell isn't promoting drinking or sleeping around with women or crying about some woman leaving him. As a matter of fact, his wife was in the hospital for some very serious medical issues. If you don't like the fact that he's singing Country music, don't listen to it and don't come looking for a reason to bash him.
His voice is actually more mainstream country than gospel/CCM-most of us Christians work in a “secular” career not full time vocational ministry-we don’t mind when Carrie Underwood sings O Holy Night so beautifully, we shouldn’t mind this guy singing country
When Mac Powell performed with Third Day live, I always felt that he embodied true passion for God and for life. I felt sad that there would no longer be Third Day, but they ended well, with grace and class. Powell made a country album in the '90s. Many Christians just about disowned him, from what I read in the old reviews. I'm glad that he can do this now. Country music is filled with emotion, whether pain and despair or joy and fun. God can bless Mac's Country flair. I don't think that God meant for any of us to be one dimensional.
We are the light of Jesus to the world. Or you can sing for the devil and help everybody drink a beer or look at another mans wife with your music.Music moves people emotionally. For the flesh witch is for the devil. Or for God. Its up to us to pick witch side we want to be on. -Titus
My favorite song that Mac sings is King of glory. I don’t know if he wrote that song but I truly believe he was sent here to sing it to our world! Mac your a awesome brother thank you for giving us Jesus In a way nobody but the chosen can do.
very cool. Very proud and happy to be a part of this new journey. I was blessed to see one of the Third day farewell tours and the very beginning of the Family Reunion era...To be honest, While Third day will always be one of my favorite bands, I really love this new ERA of music with Mac Powell and the Family Reunion. I have been blessed to see the show 4 times as of 6 19 2019 and each time it gets better and stronger. Just awesome.
Both Ty and Brad left earlier probably for their families, but they didn't say and it's not my business. David had other interests and family, so he was also leaving. It would have been down to Mac and Mark. I'm sure they didn't make the decision lightly.
I'd love to hear a song about Jesus and brown babies in cages. A single Red Letter condoning any part of removing babies and children from their mothers, and caging them like animals, leaving them to drink from tiolets. I have NO DOUBT that my BrotherJesus of Nazareth, , the Prince King, has thoughts on this. I'd love to hear a song about it. Just sayin.......
Intro song -commercial for the new tour or is this the style now, country rockin it out... LoL... Not a bad song, just not the usual Christian/gospel (slightly country?? Love that) style and the kind of thing they normally sing about, although Im sure he has been everywhere around yalls country Originally wondered if: No more Christian music, I take it?? And family reunion I take it means bringing the family along, not the old Third Day family... ??? But am from AUSTRALIA so pardon me for not knowing, & being curious, wondering what the new band would be doing before I heard anything further about it... since have seen that some third day songs would also be included, probably some of his signature songs, and poss. ones Mac himself wrote for the band since many are his lyrics, & I realise that as I would have expected, they could not be foregone in any concert he is doing with or without his Third Day group
Many of the musicians are the same and they still do some gospel. They played after the farewell concert for Third Day in Atlanta. They’re awesome! I’m sure Third Day has many of their own “reunions” in the future. No worries. Mac has not gone to the dark side 😉.
Take me back dustin Miss you too so much
Helluva great singer n band! Lefty too..

OMG i love this 😀👍
Love from India, Oh wow. Great to see you man after Third Day . That song "Consuming Fire" still ringing in ear

Agreed. I'm not a fan of country music as I used to be, but I have to admit I do like this song.

Country needs Mac Powell!!

I’m pretty sure one of the stages presented was at Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee. That place is BANGING!
I feel like I'm listening to Travis Tritt. Really though, this is great! Style really suits Mac's voice well.
i thought this was travis s new song at the time!
I absolutely love Mac's voice! I didn't realize this was Third Day singer...Sorry! I'm totally digging this song. Look forward to hearing more.

Why Mac and the Third Day guys can't keep the band together? They were a pretty solid band.
Both Ty and Brad left earlier probably for their families, but they didn't say and it's not my business. David had other interests and family, so he was also leaving. It would have been down to Mac and Mark. I'm sure they didn't make the decision lightly.
