    I don't know if it's my video here, but for me, I notice some stutters, it doesn't look fluid as it should, especially at 120 fps

    The smoothness of the game does not always = frames per second. It was the same with A Plague Tale Requiem with shadow tracing enabled, the game was around 100fps but lags and stutters with sudden movements

      Right, frame pacing is just as if not more important than frame rate.

    I’m glad they finally added frame gen, but it’s been more than 2 months and still no actual performance or optimization update. At this rate , I believe we’ll see a DLC expansion before optimizations. I honestly believe this is an engine limitation as well since this is the first time RE engine tackles an open world like this. To add insult to injury, the comparatively small size of the dev team (300-400) compared to other mainline Capcom games (1k+). Truly unfortunate since the I loved the first game despite it being underdeveloped, but to see the same or worse treatment for the sequel hurts. When will Capcom see the potential of this IP?

    Time will tell if this game gets like 10-15% boost in performance once they remove denuvo

    I'm playing on a 4090 and i9-13900K and this game still runs poorly. I'm getting some serious distortion on grass and some glare effects and UI parts with framegen. This port is a total mess. I just give up on this, i should have refunded.

      Yeah should have refunded bro, always check if a game has been crafted with care or not before purchasing.
      I preordered once, thinking Jedi Survivor would be a triumph, refunded immediately and will never buy on release again unless I KNOW the performance and gameplay is acceptable.

    Nice video. Keep them coming. I would like to ask though if at cpu limited scenarios, after all these patches, can hold up 60fps at min at least or the performance isn't there yet?? Without the use of FG of course, because these are not real frames. Thanks. I have a ryzen 7 7700 at 5,375Mhz and overclocked ram with 59ns latency and an rtx 4090 just for the heads up.

    DLSS 3 or FRS 3 seems like a requirement if you want to play this game above 60-80fps even on an 14900k and 4090.

  • @MrSattium
    @MrSattium 4 месяца назад

    I have 4k DLSS quality with Framegen 90-120 fps in the city, but this does not solve the problem, the game does not feel smooth and the game stutters

    coming from an old LG 3440x1440 75hz IPS, with $800-1000 budget, what would be your go to monitor? *4090/13900k

      @Bang4BuckPCGamer  4 месяца назад +1

      I used to have a Acer 3440x1440 75HZ monitor. I personally prefer the simplicity of the 16:9 aspect ratio. For that budget I would get the LG OLED42C34LA 42"

      I own an Odyssey Neo G8 which is 900 dollars right now. It has all the fantastic features, it has a Mini LED display which pretty good at emulating OLED. It still has practically perfect blacks and because it's an LED display it can reach super high brightness which is great for HDR support.
      The only real negatives are that because it uses DSR it reportedly has scanlines at 240fps, but I personally never noticed it, it also has natural limitations of Display Port 1.4 and HDMI 2.1. So you can't for example enable both 12-bit colors and utilize G-Sync. You can either have G-Sync with 10-bit colors on a Display Port or 12-bit colors without G-Sync on HDMI, but not both. That and matte displays can look bad depending on who you ask. All minor stuff if you ask me.

    Thanks for the Benchmark.... was on the fence getting this game due to the subpar optimization, Capcom's premium pricing is still not justified so might as well wait for a sale. When utilizing Frame generation for improved frame pacing would I be right in saying you have the following settings enabled? G-Sync+V-Sync(Forced on in NVCP)+Reflex+ DLLS FG

    • @Bang4BuckPCGamer
      @Bang4BuckPCGamer  4 месяца назад

      I don't have G-Sync + V-Sync as well as Reflex forced via The NVIDIA Control Panel. I do use frame generation and relex via in game options.
