Qualified skin therapist here. Why can i feel the microcurrent on the luna 3 plus. You are not meant too. I can’t use the serum as 2 ingredients cause my dermatitis to flare plus it has squalane in it which is an oil no matter what it came from. It prevents microcurrent from penetrating the skin rendering it useless and a waste of time and money (i tested this for me thesis for my diploma). I use the nuface conductive gel and my luna bites ALOT. My only thought is it’s improperly made and the serum is a deliberate attempt to prevent actual penetration. Conductive gels should stop all zapping feelings but mine makes it worse. Water should even be enough if your skin is not dehydrated but nope that bites like crazy. So can someone explain if this is a different technology or just another beauty company falsely manipulating unsuspecting customers who don’t know any better? I mean anyone with a brain and education knows you can’t shrink pores with products EVER you can only give the illusion from cleaning them out or blurring them. Or drastic measures via deep skin peel of which still may not work as the sebaceous gland may be even wider lower to the dermis. But companies still blatantly lie on there products and gullible consumers rush out and believe their lie. So if foreo a lying beauty company or am i missing something.

I love the app! I also use 10 around my chin and forehead but stick to 12 on the cheeks. I got a luna 3 plus without trying the luna 3 because of the heat touchpoints. Sensorial experiences are super important to me when it comes to skincare so foreo is a great option for fulfilling that need

Hi! I just ordered the luna 3 and still waiting for it and I saw this. I am now thinking of buying this instead. I do have an oily acne prone skin in the tzone. I am torn between the pink one and the purple one. I believe the pink one suits my skin type but the purple color is just so nice. Would you recommend me getting the purple one? Does the bristles really matter? Or both of them is good for my skin type? Appreciate your response.
Aww give Romeo a cat cookie :D he's adorable! So fluffy! Ahhh I really want the upgrade, but my Luna3 isn't yet a year old. And I don't know anyone I could give it to if I'd upgrade. No one I personally know enjoys skincare, I gave my sis tons of skincare and she just lets it go to waste haha. So Luna3 would just sit somewhere unused which would be sad, I guess for now I'll stick to Luna3, she's beautiful too ^^ Really useful review though! Next black friday I'll probably add the Bear.
OMG we still LOVE Luna 3 - she's a star!! But her sister Luna 3 plus is really out there thriving. You could always use your Luna 3 as a body brush as time goes by ;)

Can you use the temperature, vibration and microcurrent concurrently. Or are they separate functions. I feel a warm vibration while cleansing would be very smoothing

Hi TR. I just got my Luna 3 yesterday. I’m still getting use to it. But since you are the FOREO guru I was wondering if you could answer a few questions because I think mine is broken. Lol. When I put my temp to the max high that it can possibly go I don’t feel any warmth at all. Like, how hot is suppose to be to the touch of the skin.
Hi TSMC! The 'heat' is veryyyyy gentle. Just a gentle warmth. If you're using it with warm water it can be difficult to feel it at all :)
Can you use a massage with microcurrent option while showering? I have Luna 2 and since I'm lazy with devices, I use it under the shower, both cleanser and massager at one go. With my Bear I know the device must be dry.

I have a question with the product. I bought it a couple of days ago, the cleaning is great but using the microcurrent is a bit painful for me. I do not tolerate electric shocks or at the first level. Is it normal for the product to be that way or do I have to get used to it?
Hi Steph! FOREO has anti-shock technology and I've never experienced any shocks from it. Make sure you're using it with enough serum! I hope that helps.

Great review on the Foreo, but its going to be a pass for me 😦 Call me ‘ol skool but nothing beats using my hands and massaging an amazing cleansing gel into my face. I am new at microcurent treatment so I am wondering: should I feel that zapp after setting the microcurent intensity to 1? I bought the bear along the luna 3 plus and with the bear on 3 microcurent intensity I barely feel the microcurent. So I guess that what I want to ask is if I should be worried that my luna device might be broken? 🙃 Or is it possible that it is just fine and I will get used to it in time?

@@AnimeQueen229 Hi! :) Nope, I did not. Actually, I stopped using it because I was not able to get used with that feeling. Also, whenever I used it on my forehead, it felt as if the microcurent got deep to my brain and I remember that two times I even ended up having a headache. I would be nice and useful to have somewone with experience tell us what is normal and what is not.
