@vaishnaviamin you guys know why there is a space before the last " in the comment? because " *this* " works but "*this*" does not. idk why I felt the need to point that out
Whenever Terry gives his speech about wanting to do something an not caring about how it might effect his career, I think about how the actor came forward and shared his experience with sexual assault. That... gosh.
It's incredible to think that he did that. I can think of fewer things scarier to do, but he must have helped so many people by coming forward - as a man in the prime of his life, built like a brick wall. It's the ultimate example of how being assaulted is not about how physically strong you are, or how manly you are. I hope it helped many men to understand that they're not weak or unmasculine for having had that happen to them.
The look on Rosa’s face when her dad says they’re putting game night on hold for a while. Broke my heart. And let’s not even get into how much I cried during the Moo Moo episode.
@Ravenerpo, In the past 5 years there was, I believe 3 cases in 2 it was just bad judgement and the cops got arrested in one it looked like racism and that cop is in jail for life. Getting shot by police is more common if you’re white (even in percentage) then if you’re black anyway, so why are people acting like it has anything to do with racism.
@@anne5761 they worked it out on interactions so with every 100 interactions of cops with black people and 100 interactions with white people more white people get killed.

Captain talking to Rosa after she came out as bi is definitely my favorite scene at all the show "Everytime someone steps out and says who they are, the world becomes a better, more interesting place. So thank you"
I love the tone Braugher gives Holt in the scene where he realizes that he himself has risen to the position where he can do the things he's advising Terry to do, and that he was giving Terry the wrong advise when he should've been helping him directly. The way he says "I'm there now." Braugher's amazing - in that moment Holt really feels like a man who's had an epiphany.
I LOVE Holt's conversation with Rosa because he's able to speak from a place of personal understanding without making the situation all about himself which honestly is so refreshing

One thing that makes this series so so better: they can discuss social issues thru comedy without getting awkward, stepping away from the stereotypes and I think we can all agree, without getting offensive. The episode Moo-moo tackled racial profiling that it would hit its audience without getting uncomfy. People talked about the Terry Holt confrontation, but how Amy and Jake explained it to Kagney and Lacey is as powerful too.
