    TV host, author and journalist, Debbie Matenopoulos makes a two-day guest appearance on ABC's "General Hospital" playing the producer of the QVC-type fictional home shopping network, "Home & Heart."

Leading the way is "The Deceptor" which is a portable skincare device created and inspired by the GH storyline. Matenopolous introduces viewers to the skincare line, and shares more about her own.
    In addition, Debbie talks on landing her co-hosting gig 27 years ago on ABC's "The View" (1997-1999) and how she has always been inspired by the late Barbara Walters, who was a friend, mentor and colleague Matenopolous also weigh-ins on how "The View" has evolved almost three decades later.
    Daytime fans also know that Debbie and GH's Cameron Mathison (Drew) hosted the Hallmark Channel's morning talk show, "Home & Family," together before it was canceled. During our conversation, she talks about her dear friend and former talk show partner.

    “The City” was a soap opera spin off of “Loving.” The cast included in the first season, Morgan Fairchild, second season, Jane Elliott playing the Tracey Quartermaine character. Other cast members were Laura Wright, Lisa Locicero, Ted King and Roger Howarth, in which the actors made their way to current day General Hospital.

    She should call her show "Its All Greek To Me"!!!!! It would be so great to watch a cooking and travel show like that! I'd watch! She would be great as Tracy's long-lasting daughter on GH !!!!

    I loved Barbara Walters! I wish the show had stayed true to her vision and not gone off the political deep end! But who knows, maybe being political is what has made the show last this long.
