Beautiful artwork! Love it! And a great video that straightened out a lot of ???. I got some new ideas I want to try as soon as I bought the foot. Thank you ❤️
Hi, Thank you for your video. I have just purchased foot 2A and it does not look like yours. It doesn't have the 'crystal' bit at the top side. I haven't seen that type anywhere.
There were some of these feet made with a "coded eye" that the 9mm machines could read and know that it was a foot intended to be used at 5.5mm only. If you have one without the coded eye- that is no problem, it works the same way.
With art quilts like these the batting combinations are endless. It looks like one layer of batting, but also that a stabilizer was used under the top fabric.
Hi Sandy - with knits, you may need to stabilize the edge of the fabric. A fusible woven interfacing or a stay tape along the edge of the fabric should help!
Another nice way to use the #2 foot if you are not a garment sewer. One suggestion....please oil your machine...Berninas are not as loud as the one used in this demo.
Thank you! Very helpful, love your work! Beautiful❤
Thank you for the instructions, they are really helpful!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for your kind comment. 😘
Never properly used this foot before. Fabulous! Thanks sew much!

Thank you,I've had the 2A foot for some time but never used it because I wasn't sure of how to use it.
Awesome. I'm about to buy a Bernina 560E and that foot does the finishing edge I prefer. Great video.
MyUncut Reality bag roller carrier. Bernina.
Thanks.
Taught me how to use the 470 on an 807.
Beautiful 😻
I was wondering how to use that foot, thanks for the great instructions, really helpful!

Those end caps play an interesting role - guess it's time to use them properly...thank you Tampa

Thank you for sharing!👍🏻 how many layers of batting have you used on the art quilt? Looks like not only 1 layer.🙏🏻😊

@@BerninaInternational thank you 😊
Thank you ! great instructions.
Would an edge foot give the same results?
Great tutorial! How would/could you get this to work on knits? I tried it, and it's really wonky! :/

Perfect!

Microphone position can make sewing machines sound louder than they are.
Un po' di italiano non sarebbe male . anche noi usiamo la macchina Bernina.grazoe
