How big must one's sin be in order that his salvation be lost? How many times can our salvation be lost? How many times can we saved,? Is it possible for anyone to lose the eternal life which we recieve in regeneration ? If yes what is the meaning of eternal if it can be lost somewhere? How do you understand Eph 1:3-4 saying God elected us unto salvation from before the foundation of the world. Pastor where did you learn this theology of salvation? Your hermeneutics seems to be foreign to the understanding of so many sincere bible readers.
That's a whole lot of questions. Thank you for your questions. In John 15 Jesus said he who does not abide in Me, he is cast out...withered....throw them into the fire and they are burnt. Humans are not eternal, so is our life and choices. He who endures till the end will be saved. Yes there is a chance of losing your salvation if you go back to the old sinful way. Once saved always saved is not a biblical teaching. Sin is a sin, how big or small. Sin is the breaking of God's Holy Law in its letter and spirit. (1 John 3:4) Once a person accepts Jesus in faith and baptism, he's justified, his name written in heaven. His journey to Redemption doesn't end there. If he ends up like Judah or Peter, you know what their destiny would be. So once one life ends, his case is closed for eternal death or eternal damnation. We will address this whole topic one day.
