Im totally in love with ugetsu characters 💔.. Akihiko was the only person to see that Ugetsu was extremely sensitive to emotions, despite his nonchalant demeanor. Ugetsu realized that it was him that stripped akihiko of his passion, but couldn't let go cuz he cant choose between akihiko and music.Akihiko on the other hand, could choose. Its implied that akihiko is more fluid than ugetsu. Akihiko isn't like ugetsu, he can live without both music and ugetsu. While ugetsu cant, both music and akihiko are his world. And he does not let go and wait for akihiko to do it-, its also why he hopes that at least "music will stay" by his side. Cuz thats all he has once akihiko leaves, when akihiko does leave him for haruki, it can also be understood that he lost half of his world- akihiko. Ugetsu doesn't show much emotion throughout the entire manga until that point. He always anticipated aki's departure, and prepping himself for the break up until it actually happened, & he finally able to express his emotions again.

I really like Ugetsu’s character. Their relationship had flaws and they were slowly drifting away, but I wish they could have solved their problems and made it work. Even though they loved each other a lot, they had already lost each other long ago and now were only clinging to some hope that it’ll get better, but it just kept getting worse. I hope Ugetsu gets his own arc in the manga. This is a really great AMV!
not this finally letting me understand their relationship- i was kinda clueless until i realized why ugetsu kept trying to push akihiko away. it was because he realized how akihiko was feeling and abt the violin. makes me sob a little-

Ugetsu still didn't get any happy ending but we got some details - he moved from that underground apartment to a bigger one with a great view (its on a high floor) and the mangaka compared him to a cocoon that becomes a butterfly and finally spreads it's wings. He wins another violin contest in Moscow, Russia, and gets messaged with congratulations from some people including Mafuyu and Akihiko, and his reaction to Aki texting him is as chill as it could be meaning he finally let go of him and doesn't feel the need to always be by Akihiko's side.
The number of times i replayed Ugetsu crying over akihiko walking away is countless. i think this is my second most heartbreaking anime scene. Ive cried too much him turning, him crying and lifting is hand towards Kaji. So perfectly timed.
This is one of the best AMVs I've ever seen! I must admit I've watched this already like 10 times--it's so magical and emotional. The music, the lyrics and the scenes work together so well. And the timing at 1:45 couldn't be better. You did an amazing job with this! I hope to see more AMVs from you!

I mean the way akihiko left the violin and started harting music. And the way things would always go back and forth between them. Breaking up, but still living together and somehow still loving each other, but also both of them being in pain. I mean ugetsu basically waited for akihiko to finally end it, because he knew he couldn't. Man this love between them was so pure and complex... but like I said also very toxic. All those emotions. I was crying in film, was crying imagining it with songs, was crying by looking this AMV, feel so hurt about Ugetsu..💔 I just hope he's okay in Manhwa, living life in his big apartments. I hate seeing him getting hurt, I liked Haruki in first season, but I started hating him and I'm obsessed with Ugetsu now. He's talented, he's single, he's hurt and lonely, he's the one that charismatic character I waited for. He deserves to be the main character.
