Nice video. I once wanted to do charter shopping bus tours from Michigan to Yorkdale and then take the subway to Eaton Centre for the holiday season. Never have to go outside in the cold. It's interesting that two great malls are connected by subway.

I haven't visited this mall for so long (perhaps over 2 years). The mall is great to walk around but it has expensive brands e.g. Burberry, Tory Burch, Canada Goose, Jimmy Choo, Ted Baker, etc. I never checked out the food court when I was there. This video helps with that. Thanks!

This mall has grown so much over the years, they have pictures in the hallway leading to the bathrooms that show what it used to look like over the years. I've known this mall since the 80s. On a normal day this mall is so busy you can't walk through so many people and parking lots are full to capacity.
Yes. I’ve been going since I was a child and seen it through it’s growth over the last 30+ years. It truly is the mother of all malls. I hope if they do expand with a mixed-use development it will be similar to Galleria on the Park. Community living and not just shopping and condos.
wow they finally installed the PRESTO fare gates at yorkdale at that enterance/exit you are going through. it was a pain in the ass with all the construction and if nobody was there it's basically like an honor system (like on the street car) you are expected to pay but there's no gates stopping you to pay.

In the US, only Ala Moana Center in Hawaii has higher sales per square foot. Hawaii isn't actually in North America so really Yorkdale is the highest sales per sq. ft. in N.A. By the way, the Eaton Centre is the busiest mall in North America, meaning it has the most visitors.

The fact that it’s a five minute walk from my house is amazing! Get to see this beautiful atmosphere every time I go and it never gets old!

Hi, to be honest.. I love you video with explanations but I did not like the mall itself! looks like every other mall in the USA. same shops. no uniqueness, nothing special. and I myself hate shopping and hate malls, they are boring and I prefer to save my money for important things then spending on nonsense :)
I don't shop at malls often, but I enjoy my walk around the inside of them. especially when I do my toronto walks cause I'll see lots of people inside .
They have Canadian only stores here too
