I personally think ballistic is cracked with his ult buffing the entire team. It come back so fast the quick reloads allows you to apply so much pressure in gunfights and there is no escaping team just running you down.

I have been tearing with ballistic and I think he's cracked with pubs like an a tier with teammates that want to push but in pubs I can see how he's c tier
he's only good when theres communication in the team, I fairly like him when I play with mates but when I play solo when no one ever listens to calls he's pretty dog shit
I don’t need a third gun unless I get a Rampage/Havoc so it’s automatically charged up when I use the ult. He’s a great three stack legend but when you solo queue he’s like a C/B- Legend. Mid tier.
Yeah, sorry to say, NewCastle is at minimum A-Tier. The only reason you could dock him points, is because he’s not the easiest character to use. He’s pretty hard actually, which is why more people actually pick Gibby (Gibby is a lot easier to use).

I disagree. You can shoot through his shield easily. Only thing that makes he “viable” is his shield reviving.

I personally think that ballastic is an insane teamfighting legend. His ult is insane for straight 3v3’s.
Early game he is insane too. Definitely A-B Tier easily.
Even for 2v3, depends on the use of his abilities
1v3s if you actually are kind of a good player. I started maining him now just because he is so good. 1v3s are honestly kind of easy against Plat or below players. Plus can win 1v1s against almost anyone if tactical used right. HES A TIER STOP THE DEBATE

The thing about Ash is her passive. Being able to see all the death boxes is something I always miss when not playing her. You can time your third party perfectly, see who's rotating in late and set up an ambush and just read the flow of the round. And without anyone knowing you scanned them.
Brooo to me ash is S tier
No even with the buff she’s still really shit. Probs honestly by far worst legend. Her tactical is still slow, portal gets you beamed (doesn’t aim properly) her tactical needs a fast deployment speed as fast as revenants. She’s honestly a Frankenstein monster of revenants tactical (revs tactical beeeing faaaaaaar superior) and wraith and Lina’s tactical.
The fact that u still have to pre-aim the location of where the enemy is sprinting to because it doesn’t reach them in time is just a nuisance.
The best thing about her kit is her passive. Unfortunately she has such amazing potential her kit but respawn r fuck heads.
Also her teather doesn’t even work on apex’s golden child horizon.
If u main ash might as well switch over to rev his tactical is faaar better at preventing enemies from escaping and his ult can be actually used for a push.
Kind of annoying glaring issues with ash that could turn her easily into a A list apex but the devs love her being completely underpowered.

She needs a longer ult range for her to be better. That and if she goes to a death box and actually scans it should do more. Maybe give it a blood scan effect within 100 meters for like 5 secs or something. Or if she scans a box the pinged team gets pinged every minute or 2 unless you mark another death box until they die. Cuz that part of her passive is really, really situation at best if not borderline useless. Cuz if you know death box locations and look at your map you can easily pinpoint where there rotating through and it lets them know you pinged them. Honestly give it at least the benefit on not giving the other team a notification.

So nice to see Loba finally in S tier for a change. She's been my main for a few seasons now, and despite her bracelet not working for a season or two, I always thought she was great. But now, she's just insane

People say evac tower makes Valkyrie weaker but if anything it actually buffs her. You can get free scans by using the evac tower and I feel like her scan passive gets used even more with this tower
As a Bangalore main since season 3 I’m so happy to see bang finally getting more love these past few seasons specifically
Started playing crypto last season and now is my favorite legend, once you learn him he is so much better than people believe him to be. Being able to destroy almost anything in the game is huge especially watson. Ive had several situations where i push a watson team in a building and they cant do anything to stop me. Very underrated legend.
I think a good buff for Wattson would be when she revives she restores one shield cell worth of shield to the teammate
This is actually such a good idea. I never personally liked playing her, but I can think of more than a few Wattson mains who would LOVE that buff. It's fair and it makes sense.
As a Wattson main I second this motion.. but she needs no buffs. She's a very highly underrated legend n if you actually know how to use her which most don't. Then she can dominate easily.
I dont think this would be a good idea as the gold backpack already had the ability/perk to revive s teammate and add 2 shield cells worth of shields.
In my opinion it's still too early for ballistic to be rated but if I was going to rate them I would have put him in high B because the speed boost is Ultimate gives you can just straight up have a pocket devotion fully kitted or a pocket Havoc fully kitted. It will be a alternative to what was Ultimate as she steals ammo from other people even if it's stolen from you you can still get more from your ultimate. And his ability isn't that bad I say you can still get killed if they have like a bolt action weapon or a semi-auto weapon. A good pop shots from a wingman or G7 Scout. Could kill you before the extra 30 damage comes off of your health. And not only that you can just easily switch out your other weapon when yours is locked out

New Castle is an easy S tier if used properly imo. He's incredibly balanced and is solid in aiding rotations and revives. His ult can give cover if needed or block a door if needed plus give him cover and height. He can't really solo though and you have to really cooperate with him.

Newcastle is very mid. His ult being broken by 2 punches, shield having low health, revive being the only good ability definitely is not S no matter what. a at best with coordinated team but I’m pubs and solo q definitely not

No he’s not. He’s good in some situations but in diamond+ lobbies people would just run you over if you lose a player. Also New castle is almost always the first one to get downed in close range fights because of his hit box size
In what world is taking 15% less damage in a close range fire mean that I am getting down more often. If I run into a room and I am in a guy and we both had every shot, I win every time.
An S tier ash coming from an ash main would be having 2-3 snares, and her ultimate comes back between mirage and octane time, that would be really really annoying to go against. Another good one would be shortening her portal, making it her tactical with a 45 second cool down after portal expires and her ultimate is a snare that sticks 3 people at once, disabling their abilities for a few seconds (kinda like getting scanned by seer) and doing 30 damage to shield, if they have it, and if not 20 to health

Vantage in D tier is a crime, a good vantage will always be able to position herself greatly and get some nice high ground. Her tactical is basically an octane jumppad with a much shorter cooldown. Ult is great for scouting and getting some easy knocks as well. She is at least A tier imo

The weird thing about Ash is she plays like a Skirmisher... Controller... *and* Recon... All while being in the Assault class. Perhaps if they gave Ash a more clearly defined role on the team she'd be better. One way could be to rework her into a Controller by totally changing the passive to have synergy with the class-passive, tactical allowing a certain amount of arc snares to stay as traps, and the ult when casted could apply the electric slow effect to enemies caught within its path.
Personally I'd put Ballistic in B tier, he's a bit of a mixed bag
His ult can be insane in the right context, with a full team all running SMGs or something, you just spray bullets non-stop, but he's very situational for sure
His Q needs some tweaking, because it's really just not great for anything other than an additional 20 dmg lol
Sling weapon as a passive is great though, love the idea

I’m a vantage main and I think she is absolutely amazing. She may not have the best moves overall but she has movement, long range, and recon all in one legend, and being able to tell how many in a squad is so handy. D teir is far too low for being one of the most versatile legends in the game
Her ult is useless in close range. This season is a close range season, with the maps being smaller and smgs being the meta. I think that’s the issue, since a vantage doesn’t bring anything to the team when you’re close range. Not a good idea to bring that ult out in close range, you’ll get 1 clipped by an r9.
@@BigSuzpekt yeah it’s useless at close range but it’s a god at mid to long range, no ult is just a god for every situation possible, and that’s what you have 2 primary weapons for, which should be a prowler or r99. And the for the team comp, might be best for me cause I only play with my friends so there is always communication. But her passives is one of the most useful tools I can think of. Example my squad was in final 3 on kings canyon yesterday. It was a solo octane red shield and a duo crypto and bloodhound both red shield. Knowing who was in what squad, how many they had was a game changer to my team. With that info we snuck around to where the duo was. We each targeted one and bam. Now it is our full team vs 2 solos. Knowledge is power🙏🏾
@@BigSuzpekt me I’m a tactile minded person, I only shoot when I need to and I like to have constant layout of my surroundings, so for me the ability to find a team, leave echo at a spot jump down kill one, use my tac to him and pin someone so they can’t get to them while my teammates rush is the besy
With this ranking system this season Vantage has been my secondary main. Her mobility is 100% underrated. The ult is pretty solid in most situations. I do agree she's a D tier recon legend though.

BRO Vantage can be so sick with movement and survival potential. Super huge movement and coordination outplay potential. Crazy underrated.
Her sniper is stacked and being able to play call off of how many players are in the squad your viewing with her scan is crazy.
If you want to buff her sniper lower the bullet cooldown by about 10 seconds. Do this in exchange with her extreme movement distance being dropped by a few meters while maybe lowering the buildup of her jump by .5 seconds.
Use Alt Accels to get 2-3 bullets of her sniper automatically.
Mark my words in Season 17 she will be picked more often as a survival legend.
Let me just say this though, Revs tactical and passive are great. Especially the passive. Climing up walls silently and being able to crouch strafe fast are such underrated abilities. So I hope Respawn doesn't change that. The Ultimate though, a rework would be welcomed.

Dude, Evac tower actually is a big buff for Valk, as you can easily scout an area 3 times along with your ult.

I see Octane being a very useful legend to pair with support legends now that everyone can craft banners and now that ranked has more emphasis on placement. Octane's can get away and craft banners now.
I am octane main and personally i think that octane deserves better than d tier I think he could be c,b or even a tier if you use his abilities right, his passive basically allows you to play without having to carry heals and his jump pad can be good for movement if you place it right
for crypto the team needs to trust their crypto for his ultimate use time and listen him up when he asks for a jump pad / portal / zip / gravity thingy but as gameplay with drone if there is a bangalore it can provide the whole team a good scan within the smoke while enemies are not gonna see the drone , can take down the annoying caustic traps + watson stuff + that plague girl stuff , so overall with good team or premade I feel crypto is a A character , but saying again like you say with a good team =) lately I'm mostly playing vantage tho in solo q , its just so fun

I found revenant pretty easy for this season tbh , you got keep an eye on your surroundings with him another think you need to play him properly but I’d say he’d be in , b or c tier
Personally, I disagree with caustic. The one legend that I would play 24/7 is caustic, but my god his gas is fucking terrible. It has more of a mental effect, you can see through it, it barely does damage, half the time caustics passive doesn’t work. Even when I go against a caustic I just play like the gas isn’t there and it works 80% of the time. It’s not punishing anymore at all. And especially when you have legends like catalyst who can literally rebuild doors, caustic in my opinion can’t compete with that. Rebuilding doors gives HUGE defense
Crypto is my favorite but he is so hard to use when solo queuing. I have to carry the team and be the in game leader to get my teams to utilize his kit properly. If they gave his drone a better scan like the other recon legends, then he would be great.
How about doing like vantages bat echo… Maybe he could ping the location he wants his drone to go instead of always having to manually use it himself (he could be able to do both) and to balance that out when he’s not manually controlling it and just pinging the location for the drone to go, maybe it can only go a specific range( shorter than when manually controlling it) then it will either just stop or recall itself.
Just a thought u don’t necessarily have to read this even I don’t know if It sounds good but doing this would lesson the risk u take while in the drone, but also doesn’t give it too much of an advantage.

@@Jay.D.Argonaut if that's the case then it would negate his ability to scan beacons and respond beacons remotely. It would take half of his kit away and it would also give his location away. His drone is too loud. It wouldn't make his remote drone remote.

As a mirage main, making mirage a support made him go from low C tier to easy A tier

Personally i main rampart exclusively and the why i play her is only cause that seh can camp and have high ability on building,placing wall everywhere to create an unbreakable castle with a destroying turret to defend will never get old for me.
I'm not sure if I'd put Path in A tier. More like mid or upper B. The big hit box is a death wish and the tactical cooldown is really long. Plus the fact that path can be counter by Revenant is saying something.
You also get a tonne of hitstun when starting a grapple so it often bugs or you get slowed down ridiculously. In my opinion he needs fortified. He's one of the biggest hit boxes in the game, his whole kit revolves around momentum, this one simple change would be a great bit of quality of life
Since no one is playing Rev, i think that's a non issue, but otherwise agreed, Path is B tier at best.

I disagree with "No legend came out and was instantley meta". Lets not forget Launch Horizon. She had the highest pickrate for damn near the whole season til she got nerfed. Defenitely was meta for a bit. Instant Height from her Q and it came back every 5-6 seconds.
I think Crypto should be ranked a bit higher for the single fact that he can make an entire team turn away from your team, unload all their ammo at your drone before they get hit with the emp and highlights enemy positions all at once.
I was actually gonna harp on about this tier list being incredibly early but putting Octane in D tier and saying how he promotes stupid plays and pushes gives it a pass.
I know some people are already gonna cry about "but Octane is fun". Fun does not equal useful, especially in ranked. Any legend and any player can make bad choices, but no other legend is drawn to poor decision making like Octane.
I was a crypto main around the time he came out. When they nerfed his emp to stun allies too....i was pissed and gave up on him. He's literally nothing without his drone. In order to use the drone you have to go into spectator mode, putting your team into 2v3. Hopefully when rev gets his rework, they revert that emp nerf as well. Wraith portal+Rev totem+Emp=Easy Wipe. Even with all the things his drone can do, once its destroyed you basically are just a vengeful nerd with guns.
Ballistic is NOT c tier, he’s at least an A. lol. Octane is at least B. Why? Stacked with ballistic he’s a monster and I honestly feel most movement characters should never be below B. Octane played right is great. Yet, he has a high pick rate, so you are more likely to run into people who have no idea what to do and make dumb plays. Only gripes I really have. Obviously just my opinion though. 😁 great list other than that!

I main Valk. I will say the evac towers pair really good with valk. I mean evac towers are easy to get so pretty much valk might as well be a recon I use evacs or my ult all the time just to see where everyone is
Fuse main myself, If I can’t guarantee a stick on another player using the clusters, nades, and ult to simply just herd players into your teammates or to leave cover is valuable in my opinion. The 3rd party ability to block and initiate a push hasn’t done me wrong yet. Fuse is highly under rated. All just opinions great video.
Honestlt, my biggest issue is how high crypto is and how low revenant is i feel like crypto is one of the worst as he has no movement, weapons or any abilities without using his drone and revenant does have some movement buffs, a second life and ability cancelling
I will admit as a Crypto main Bloodhound is the better recon legend for information gathering if u like engaging in fights and getting kills but I still would choose Crypto for info gathering cuz there's nvr gonna be a time were u dont get 3rd partied during or after a fight in any match
As a LL main I think this is her weakest season. Sharing blue bins took away that exclusivity. Also the loot logic in her care package was reworked to be more dependent on what your team is already carrying. Her care package is still a beacon to reveal your position, and banner crafting is still weak. You have to find materials, find a crafter, then a respawn beacon. The variables to pull off a successful revive are too high considering other classes such as assault who just let you Carry extra ammo with no other variables to consider. Plus New Castle taking away the shield revive means that will never be coming.
If we’re looking at ranked only, I feel like Caustic would be S Tier. All 3 maps are literally perfect for him.
Have to disagree with Bloodhound not being nerfed. Having the ult less often if you’re taking frequent fights is a big hit to their strength compared to last season. I don’t think it was necessary at all. Being able to weave in scans at the correct times to gain maximum info plus ult charge for the next fight was a skill gap. It was very rewarding to be able to gain as much as 75% ult overcharge by using the ult really well. The ult took a hit when you lost the ability to scan faster and more often so being able to have access to at least the speed boost more frequently was a nice balance
Agree 1000% on Ballistic. I knew day 1 he was mid. The one upside is if you carry a devotion/havoc/rampage, it automatically adds the hop-up/ charge up. Other than that he’s only viable in three stacks.
I think Ballistic is A tier at least his ultimate can completely change the tide of battle and if you get a gun fight early on you don’t need any attachments for your gun or amo just throw it in the sling and your good, Ballistic’s ult and tac can easily let him out gun anyone

All three ults at the same time could be insane with a well coordinated team
Maybe for pubs, but they might be completely useless for ranked. Ranked is going to be much more passive this season, people are more likely to be holding down areas.
And even then, Rev-Tane is completely trash now. You can see that combo coming from across the map.
Generally, I've been playing a lot of Loba and Wraith depending on what the other players in my games pick. I'm pretty good at fighting and Wraith is my best legend for fighting but having Loba to play when we need a support legend is good.
Fam I use Valk,Wattson and Loba… Love using her (Loba) but every time I pick her my Randoms always assume I’m gonna loot the whole game😭 When I ping a fight there still using my black market to loot🥲

Octane in D-tier is absurd. He provides wayyy too much mobility to be so low. At least a C-tier placement.
Mangosintrees here is something else that makes mirage viable - after trying it out ballistics smart bullet DOES lock on to the decoys, helpful now as there are lots of ballistics around. IMO this may buff mirage to A tier or very close
It's amazing for fighting them but oh my god I hate having them on my team. His ult gives your character model a glow. This stays even when going for a res so Mirage cloak doesn't work very well when in combo with Ballistics Ult. I lost a game because of it. It was an easy revive. It could have been- if it weren't for the fact while I was invisible I had a bright distinct blue glow from the autoloader ult
@@CANWEKISSRN Yep another thing is that if ballistic ults and u guys are in a buillding people can see even when not close enough due to the glow. Glow also shows u in bang smoke sometimes as well.
I don’t think vantage and octane are not that bad in my opinion again I base my opinion on how high you can improve the legends with skill but nice tier list

Bangalor and Blood hound on the same team will always be S tier. Its now dependant on catagories. A team with all assult class wont out play a mixed group if they are cohesive. So S tier too me is what legend will compliment the team best, soo third pick.
Ballistic with an re45 as a ultimate, i had win 1v3 with that pistol as 3rd weapon, its insane
Seer in my opinion is not S tier, too easy to dodge his tactical and the ult is too slow if you get third partied he’s basically useless which is all apex is lol
Look, saying that you take all of the game modes into account for all the legends, and then making a lot of legends seem like you only took battle royal into consideration is kinda interesting, for example: Crypto.
With ranked now favouring placement having a watson or caustic in ranked for end zone is almost essential

I disagree with a few of your takes to a degree but the main ones that stood out to me is Ash and Ballistic. Ash is def a B Tier Legend for 3 reasons. One is because her passive is better than the recon passive. Two is that her ult has a low cooldown. Three is because she can push into a fight or save a downed teammate to high or low ground instantly with her ult. Ballistic can arguably be an A tier legend. He can literally turn a 3v3 into a 3v2 with his smart pistol. Plus not to mention that his ult gives his entire team an advantage. Plus he is extremely good at endgame when facing the last squad as well.
If crypto was allowed to run his drone 25 -50M ahead of him. With PIP/a drone view in the map box.
Thank you, octane is fucking garbage. Stimming into a fight is too costly, health regen doesn’t counter the cost anymore, he’s the loudest character in the game by footstep audio, the pad sounds like a rocket ship taking off when placed, no accuracy when hitting the pad, no distance, and easily one clipped if you hit the pad without sliding or sliding honestly.
I mean no disrespect when I say this, but the ballistic take is not a good one. I personally would put him in A if not S. His ult with an R99 can change the outcome of any fight, I constantly find myself winning unwinnable situations when I use his ult just due to the fact that the strafe speed is crazy fast, furthermore when using the R99 in ult the reload animation is ridiculously fast to the point i can output 2-3 times more damage than the enemy. The smart bullet is also very balanced but very good, In any situation I can shoot the bullet and prevent one person from outputting max damage for a few seconds which can significantly affect a close-quarters team fight. As far as my "expertise" to give an opinion I have multiple preds under my belt as well as top 30 currently and have 100% play time with ballistic this season so I can speak on my experience so far. The last point I can make is that his ult effectively breaks aim assist because of how fast the strafe speed is and when paired with bang it can make fighting controller players a cakewalk. In my opinion, he is the best dueling legend in the game on par with bang (I forgot to add but when tagged with the smart bullet it leaves an icon over the enemy's head which makes tracking easier as well) This is my argument for putting him in S tier if you disagree please feel free to comment on why u think so.

Ult-R99 is crazy for sure. Having Nemesis as a primary while ult was active also felt pretty wild.
As a rev main, I know he isn’t high tier, but rating him as the worst legend is insane. I wish people could understand how bad crypto is. That’s not related I just want people to understand
As a Fuse main myself, I can say that I totally agree with this. I rarely to never use his ultimate. I just main him for his tactical and passive.
You can also say with new castle in order to play him efficiently you need to play claw- or revive with your pointer finger or else you won’t be able to turn while reviving .
I agree with everything but mirage. Imo s tier, a at the worst, arguably the best 1v1 legend, very good res, very good escapability, and very fun to play. What else do you need in a legend.
Ain't no way horizon is in A tier, she's literally so busted still, her tactical has way too much going for it, can reposition, get height, block doors, throw enemies out of their position, make it so you either have to look up and not at her team or have her land behind you and laser you, and works way too well with her passive, she can land with full movement and no aim penalty, and let's not get started on her ult grenade spam bullsh*t. She needs a stronger nerf, she is still easily the strongest legend in the game and is busted anyone saying she isn't is just a horizon crutch baby.
as a rampart main for sure c tier. it takes alot of set up time and thought to place the walls right. the ult is good but the walls are better when placed right

ballistic has been my main since he came out. VERY powerful and can definitely help especially when youre low on ammo and want to be aggressive.

Very disagree with Vantage, as a mainer I think she has a great advantage with her tactical, it has its own strengths. Her ult is not the best but great if you don't use long-distance guns (like me). Her passive is really nice if you use VC (like me). I did play Valkyrie before but sadly she's just bad now, they really did her dirty with that nerf
If Crypto could move the drone after you use the tap option like new castles barrier he would be so much better. It still baffles me he cant do this
As an Octane main I see what your talking about but you just have to be smart and not run in alone for a 3v1 and for his launch pad has saved my ass 1 to many times this season
At least put him in c tier because of his passive it helps with inventory and just makes it so you can have less time healing
I get that it’s hard to keep bias out but Path not being a tier bc you think he’s 5% to big is wild with his buffs. Especially seeing the other A and S tiers lol
I’d disagree with ballistic, at least in duos if your teammates get hit with the smart pistol it’s basically a free push for them making it a 2v1
EVAC Tower is not a nerf, it's a low tier buff. Evac to Launch for hella visibility.

I mostly agree with the list. Octane is definitely D tier I can’t stand having an Octane on my team. 😂 Vantage is better than D tier. Fuse is B. Crypto is an outlier, can be B-D tier depending on the player and their drone abilities.
