Thank you 💙 I've actually graduated now! But when I was at university, I focused on setting schedules for certain things like morning prayers or weekly offerings, regular meditation. Things that can only take a few minutes 😊
@@TheOakWitch Thank you for you're reply, I have now watched most of your blogs love your mum gave you your first book of shadows ❤.I love you're content and I'm sure your be a shining light to young witches ,blessings 📖🐛
This was great. I'm very much interested in any folk witch content especially pertaining to British lore if you have any further hints and tips bringing it all into everyday life, I'm all ears 🌞
I've got a couple videos on English folk magic, one on protections and the other on symbols, if you wanted to check that out! I can definitely make a video in the future on what practicing English folk magic in everyday life looks like?
Great video. I am starting to develop a Spell craft "routine" or template (hard to explain what I am doing to be honest). I am trying to get better at it. Lets just say that. And I do find, like you said in the beginning, that I do not see a need to do spell work often and so when I have a situation that arises I am tentative to put a spell together. I want to "practice" it more, but I also don't want it to be a daily thing that turns into a mindless habit. I think the core of spell work seems to be clarity of goals, and potency of visualization and internalization. I have a regular daily meditation routine that I have followed for 30 years and this has provided me with a potency of mind. I can manifest things with shocking consistency. I have to be careful about actually. How does one practice the aspects of spell work daily without always casting spells? Perhaps visualization techniques should also be part of ones routine.
This is a question regarding a previous video. Do you have any tips on a BoS for closeted baby witches? I keep it pretty well hidden, but I'm still scared. If my parents found out, I would literally get killed. Please and thank you!
My biggest tip would be having an online magical journal! On Google Drive, the app Notion, or just some Word Doc files on your computer. If you have access to a private device where no one checks the contents of it, then this can be a great way to write a BoS. One thing I'd like to say if that's alright, is if it's dangerous to be a practicing Witch and you live at home, I suggest perhaps suspending practice until you're in a safe environment? Your health, wellbeing and safety is far more important.
@The Oak Witch Thank you for the advice! I don't always have access to a device (my phone and tablet are confiscated a lot, idk why) so I may have to find other ways. My parents know I'm a very private person, so I will most likely keep it hidden. And as for being in danger, I keep it well hidden, so I can most likely keep it like that until I can drive at least. Thank you so much for the advice!! Blessed be!
@@Insanityofthefleshold Please find a program for your phone and/or tablet that you can password protect, and use that to hide your online book of shadows. If you absolutely have to keep a physical journal, I'd advise keeping it and any tools hidden in a really secure spot. Somewhere away from your home would be best, but if it has to be in your home, then try to find a spot that's not likely to be found even if your parents are really searching, like under a floorboard, behind a switch plate, under a corner of the carpet in the back of your closet, etc. You can find more ideas online. A locked diary filled with innocuous ramblings can be a great decoy. You should also set up your devices to automatically clear your search histories, and be really careful about saved files. You might want to save everything to a password protected (free) Drive account. If you have to write down your passwords, I'd encode what you write down, and then hide them well. Make very sure that your passwords aren't anything that your parents could guess. Be careful, don't confide in friends because it's likely to come back to bite you, and good luck. This period of your life won't last forever, it sometimes just feels like it will. 💛
@@Insanityofthefleshold You're most welcome. I'm happy I could help. If you want some more encouragement and tips there are numerous RUclips videos about "broom closet" witchcraft that have really good ideas. Many of those videos are from people who've spent some time in the broom closet themselves. Good luck and much success on your witchy path! 💚💛💙💜🖤
I am so glad you made it clear that spells do not have to rhyme because that was honestly my biggest question. Thank you

Unpopular opinion: every witch should be eco friendly. Bc a true witch will know the worth of nature.
Salting earth is something armies did to their enemies to make sure they couldn't recover. That's how bad it is.
Are you good at divination? I need your help. ❤
