I was born and raised Mennonite, and believe me, they are not all nice friendly and polite, they are like any other group of people. human, and have faults, many just try to hide them.
The first immigrants came from Europe and had cultural similarities even though they had different nationalities. And they were culturally Christian even though from different sects. They blended together to form one nation. That’s a far cry from trying to assimilate immigrants who have radically different backgrounds from us such as Muslims. And I’ve lived in a Muslim country. I know what I’m talking about. Many westerners just don’t understand this.
Romans 8:9. ESV You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.
I have never meet a mennonite that was not nice, friendly, and polite! 😊
We're glad to hear :-)
I live among tens of thousands of them and that is generally true, but when Mennonites became wealthy they often lost their religious fervor.

Somehow I don't think that if today's immigrants were Mennonites, and behaved in that way, we would be as concerned about their presence.
Thank you.
Yes and thank you. I’m amazed at how naive so many people, such as this gentleman, are.

Um, apples and oranges.
Thanks!
No problem!

What a shame to go around branding sheep when you could be fishing
