Gta sa felt more complete then gta 5. Really wish they'd focus more on game play and things you can do rather then graphics. Gta 5 felt like a huge map with nothing in it

@@arbendit4348 You can't exactly compete with GTA--SA when its map until GTA 5 came out was likely considered to be the biggest out of the entire series and each city had it's own set of unlockables, plus how many GTA games featured Liberty city because even VC stayed above GTA 3 and that was likely due to the fact that it was new location entirely.

I think it's mostly due to it releasing too early into the Xbox 360/ps3's lifecycle, people were still playing San Andreas on the PS2 when IV released
It's because it was too grey. No color. Wasn't fun to look at it. And the main character sucked.

I still remember comments on RUclips and various forums during those times saying that it was too much of a step backwards from San Andreas in regards to gameplay, features, open world and side content. It didn't catch on as much with people at the time. But it's not like it was a failure either, it was still popular, just never quite as much as San Andreas.

Given the engine they do have I'd argue that a PROPER remake of GTA 3, VC and SA would benefit them, as it gives Rockstar a reason to put some more mysteries that were a staple of GTA ever since GTA 3, I mean to make an example, GTA-SA was the reason why a Sasquatch like entity could be seen in GTA 5 along with a easter egg mission related to them, because people thought Big Foot was in GTA-SA.
@Retardationz I wouldn't call that a "remake" because something people seem to forget is that GTA-SA had THREE cities instead of just one and the desert wasn't by Los Santos like it is in GTA 5.

You can learn multiple fighting techniques, have a girlfriend and do the deed, go on dates, go to the gym, you will die if you dont eat food, defending your territory against enemy gangs, disco dance with a mini game, go into casinos and bet, driving school, boat school, flight school, multiple cities and etc.

Damn, I had no idea GTA IV sold more copies than Vice City, let alone by THAT much. I guess if you count the number of pirated copies of Vice City, it would probably be the second most popular GTA game of all time behind GTA V.
Nah GTA SanAndreas is way more popular than Vice City because you do so much and the map is bigger. It was a default game in most peoples P.C along with FIFA. There are probably billion more crack copies not counted in this graphic.

For kids who bargain in by saying GTA IV is the best game of the franchise it's bs. Coz look at it's selling rate. It's even worse than SA. Bcoz it's physics are exaggerated. No matter what SA will be stay as a revolutionary game in GTA history
