Enter the Nico hype train. He should do well this season, but imo - won't win the heisman. Remember, he's a SOPHOMORE. Tennessee's schedule is in their favor as well as the OOC, I do have them beating Bama since it's Deboer first year. Hostile environment, lopsided but still a rivalry game, and Vol fans will probably storm the field after the win - granted it ain't against the GOAT coach.
Expect a top 10 offense, how will their defense fair? We can only project, but if they want to make some particular noise in the playoffs, statically they have to be top 50 win a championship. or at least make an appearance. The last bottom 50 defense to win a championship - never happened. The last bottom 50 defense to make a championship appearance: 2022 TCU, which might be the biggest outlier since 2017 UCF or even 2015 Boston College, in which was the best defense during the 4 team CFP era.
