Excellent. It's good idea.
Earlier, I make one Do channel high always and connect it to relay. NC of relay connected to buzzer for alarm at PLC off.
It's good idea expecially program allowing inputs from HMI.

Thanks! Some stuff does not work exactly the same on 1200 PLC's... but most of it is there. As far as I remember OB121 counts to those things the 1200 can't (there's reasons why it's called "basic")

@@ziborgbe Yeah! Siemens PLC's are categorized in a couple of categories, with different features given:
Logic Module: LOGO!
Basic Controllers: S7-1200
Advanced Controllers: S7-1500, S7-300, S7-400
Distributed Controllers: ET200SP/S/Pro
Software Controllers: PC based Controllers
Each category is slightly different in what they are capable to do... the S7-1200 as "Basic" Controller can't do as much as the "Advanced" Controllers

Could you please explain how do you know where the error will occur? I understand how you are resetting error, but you basically need to predict on which rung error will occur to do so. How can you catch the error and fix it if you do not know where the error is going to popup?
