Love this. My exact routine pretty much except I too with Jell-O shot. I clarify then do a moisture shampoo and I detangle with the moisture shampoo and put in twists as I rinse… then when I deep condition I only need like 2 passes of the detangler to get it detangled then rinse then ufd then Jell-O shot and I have one week plus lasting curls. Refreshing with water and a shake and no frizz at all

Thank you for your question. I knew I forgot to address something in the video 🤭. I actually have been meaning to switch since I took the Cohort with yesherstudio a few months ago. She is a tight curl stylist and recommended I switch to AG curls shampoo because I had not used any raw oils and butters for about 7-8 months at the time and I was consistent with my weekly routine. AG curls is also an all purpose shampoo but less stripping. I love it for my curls and still very much cleansed. I don't have build up like I used to before starting the detox and my hair doesn't need a strong shampoo like AG balance. I was waiting to run out of AG balance to start using AG curls but I got the liter bottle of AG balance and I use so little that almost a year after purchasing it, I still have an almost 1/2 full bottle so I just decided to start using AG curls at this point and I will plan on gifting my AG balance to a friend.

AG Care was referred to this as there moisturizing shampoo ,but I have been using it on weeks when I need a little more cleansing and Innersense on weekly basis.
My stylist I see for my cuts and washing and styling said the same thing about AG balance also ! She considers it a clarifying shampoo actually and recommended I switch to innersense hair bath or olaplex no 4 which are more moisturizing. But I have 1/2 of the bottle still, thankfully not the 1 litre.
I personally felt more elongation when I applied UFD and ICH in the shower but I wonder if ultimately it was because I applied more water after ICH when needed vs getting out of the shower and not applying more water when needed.
Hi Tanoe, I learn a lot from watching your content! I noticed you used 2 seperate shampoos in the video, do you do this each week? Another general question: Are you truly able to accomplish washing, applying the gels and raking all within 1 hour? (After this-- to then sit under a dryer/diffuse) It feels like so many steps watching this video. For me, it's more like 1 hour and 15-20minutes from shampoo to condition, to ufd, to setting gel and raking through. My length is maybe an inch shorter than yours. Washing and getting products distributed is like 35-40 minutes The finger raking process still seems to be long and tedious in-order to get the smoothing I desire. And can take another 30 minutes And that's all before getting under the dryer. But truly, I'm so encouraged see your journey because it gives me a great visual to what I've been experimenting with on my own time. Thank you for sharing your process. It's greatly appreciated 😊👍
Hi 🖐🏿. I personally use 2 separate shampoos if it has been more than 4-5 days (depending on how dirty my hair is) since my last wash. I recently switched from AG balance to AG Curl Fresh for my all purpose shampoo. I use AG Curl Fresh followed by Innersense hydrating hairbath shampoo at least once every 7-10 days. If I do a mid week wash, like let's say it's only been 3 days since my last wash, I skip my all purpose shampoo and go straight to using my moisturizing shampoo which is my Innersense hydrating hairbath shampoo. I personally have not been able to cleanse, condition, detangle, smooth and rake in just one hour. It usually takes me about 30-45 min to cleanse, condition, detangle and apply my gels, and another 30-45 min to smooth and rake. So... realistically I will say I usually spend 1.5 hours max to get my hair done from the moment I get in the shower to the moment I am ready to sit under my hooded dryer. Another 45-60 min roughly to dry my hair the way I like it. So all in all, it could me 2.5 hours for the entire process from start to finish. Hope that helps. I have had some frustration with how long it takes me to smooth and rake as well as dry my high density hair but overall this hair routine has been a welcomed consistency in my life and a breath of fresh air.

I like the finish and firmness I get from my 3 gels. Sometimes I use 2 gels ans sometimes I like to add Bamboo Ginseng. It really comes down to the finish look you are trying to achieve and preference.

I personally have not tried UFD with BG without ICH. I know @jazzyfrazier from IG has done it with good results.
