Ive lost a tiny piece of my soul. I still remember the first time I saw Johnny Maestro & the Brooklyn Bridge at the WCBS-FM 15th Anniversary concert. It was magical. I went to see him in small clubs in Brooklyn, outdoor concerts like the ones at the World Trade Center anywhere I could see him. Each time, it filled my heart and brought me so much joy. Thank you Johnny, for your wonderful music and your magical voice. Rest in peace as you sing for the angels. Im sure theyre listening in.
June Roberts....He is in the Hall of Fame in our hearts...I cannot believe it is almost 4 years that he is gone...I remember being so depressed when I heard the sad news...He is absolutely the best..I had the privilege of seeing the Brooklyn Bridge in the 80's in Folsom PA...The BEST show ever and I am 71 years old..No one today can replace him...
Does anyone know when johnny was diagnosed with cancer? I was just wondering How long he was with us after he learned this. I have been an Elvis girl all of my life. As much as I adorned him, I have to say that Johnny can sing circles around him.

Johnny is the singer against whom all other singers are measured
Johnny Maestro is a very underrated singer. He should be right up there with the greats. Why isnt he and his group in the Hall of Fame?
