Hi Gazza - its great - but look for a 2600mah not 2200 (as I did) in fact the manual says 4S 2600..... might give you that extra 30 seconds ..Oh and I really do recommend NOT using the landing gear....
Martyn That thing is ALIVE..... it just leapt out of your hand..... Great flight well controlled and an ace landing to boot... Little pinky... Doh geeling. What's wrong with good ol Yorkshire tea..... Sticks to your ribs on the way down.. And Needless to say.. Good ending👍👍👍 Brian ...
Stock video footage on the Tea front - sorry about that old chap - I am working on some better video for next time 😋😋 - thanks Brian - love this one - might even become better than the Viper !!! Time will tell... Onwards and upwards... PIp pip... Martyn
Hi Sean. Thanks, real credit should go to Xfly, the have made a great stable 64mm EDF... only concern I have is that the ESC does take Minutes to initiate, sonnet sure if it has a fault, it works ok once up and running but is very slow to see the battery....
Hi Ironmover - I am experiencing some camera issues - for this flight the cockpit cam did not work - but the GoPro on the head did - then for the maiden +1 - the cockpit cam did work and the gopro did'nt ?? - next video for this one will be 100% cockpit cam... and it was windy so lots of rocking about...
Good job on that maiden. Looking forward to seeing the maiden of your F-15 and hearing what you think of it, especially in comparison to this Red Hawk.
Hi Adam, the hook velcro works well for a DIY finger grip, if the other Xfly EDFs fly as good as this one does, I am going to be very happy indeed, it has been pointed out to me that the recommended battery is a 2600mah and not 2200mah so next time I will try a 2600 and see if it makes any difference time wise.....
Cracking maiden flight Martyn, I felt you enthusiasm for this model, it's on my want list but they've been out of stock for months now!! Great hand launch and great flying 😀👍
IT really is a smooth flying machine Ian - I did have AS3X on but that was due to the High winds - I need to turn down the gain on the AS3X - as on the next flight I do you can see the aircraft rock side to side (over correction by the AR630 - AS3X - I will work on that this week... I took a leaf from your book - they do not need landing gear and I think look and fly better without it... Stay well - Martyn
Nice maiden flight Martyn. The hand launch looked really good. The 50mm BAE should be a cake walk! :). You should get a commission for advertising and sales 🤓!! I know the Xfly A-10 calls for a 2600mah, does the T7-A?? It could help with FT n battery reserve. AirHammer out!!
Hi AirHammer - I thought they took 2200mah ? - I have just checked and the T-7A recommended battery is indeed a 2600 4S !!! - but the A-10 says 2200 to 2600 , BUT I have just purchased 2 x 2600mah 4S 35C lets hope they do the job
That’s great looking jet can’t wait to build mine up soon, great maiden Martin big salute 🫡, Gary 🇬🇧

Thank you - Ummm - the F-15 you say - well it could be very soon - might even be next weekend - it has been selected !!!!....
Great idea using Velcro for grips. Seems like a great plane. I know Jeff from Lower Al loves his. Great flight Martyn!
