Holy moly! I was at these shows with my brother!!!Devo is in the Wagon Camp for this.
Great to see a Jackson with Devo! Wish MJ was also there!
Jermaine and Devo dropping some funk.
6:47 killer guitar solo 🎸 👏🏻
Toni Basil did a cover of "Be Stiff" - must be heard to be believed
Members of Devo were involved with that. Gerald Casale also wrote one or two songs for her album.
9:32 MARK HIT THE DAB
I had no idea there was more to this performance than just the Jermaine Jackson song. Thanks for uploading! Also, why doesn't Mark have "Omnichord smacker" on his resumé yet?
Sophia Swengel - Omnichord smacker! Love it !! 🤣🤣
The host look like Paul McCartney
Did you record the rest of it?
Sophia Swengel - I picked up the tape in a trade back in the day - this is everything that was on the tape from that show 😎
@@jimdolan373 ah, alright
@@jimdolan373 Bet you anything they were also Toni Basil's backup band. They wrote several songs for her hit album...
Why aren't they actually playing?
Most shows like this were mimed. This was also in a period where Devo mimed their TV performances, which is a shame.
