In 2001 Steve was invited to take part in the Radio 2 'Music Live' series of programmes. He joined the Richard Allinson Show on Saturday 26 May to perform a couple of live acoustic tracks in Leeds Corn Exchange.

They sounded PERFECT. Or, they lip-synced the song (I hope not). Anyway, Devo is still touring over 40 years later in 2024! [After Mike's comment about lip-syncing I'm inclined to think they did this without cheating. Kudos to the band!]
This interview is so much different from the one they did with David Letterman. Whereas Mike is respectful and interested, Dave was kind of a smart aleck through the whole interview. Here we are over 40 years later and Devo is still touring in 2024!

Thanks for this, never seen it. Harley at his Harequin self. Is it the Face to Face album? His voice is amazing. Very thick neck Steve had. Like Jim Morrison. Could belt them out and when you see him singing he hardly moves, like it's easy. Amazing band.
RIP Thank you for happiness, a rare gift for life. Steve is sadly missed.
