Honestly I don’t notice that much of a difference but I’m always making sure that my moisture in my hair. For the most part she acts right😅 but yes I would love a winter regimen because that’s what I notice much more of a change in my hair. Please bring it on!!!! I literally just went to my stylist and got my hair trimmed and I’ve been doing this every four months. I noticed that my hair flourishes once I get a good trim!!!!
Love the commentary on vulnerability to S.A.D. this time of the year. As a young adult out of school/college etc. I am far more conscious of the change in season than when I was younger and too busy with school and other things to notice it much. If I am not consistent with self-care and stimulation, my mental health will suffer. A huge change I made recently was to leave my 100% WFH job into a more hybrid opportunity that lets me travel semi-regularly. Smaller day-to-day changes include working through my reading list, physical self-care and frequent exercise, listening to sermons or uplifting music, planning meals and trying new recipes, cleaning my space consistently, making plans to see family and friends + check up on loved ones, going for drives and getting fresh air instead of avoiding leaving the house. These small things help make me feel better about the short days and brick cold Northeast weather. Hope it helps!

It is cold where I am in the winter. I wear hats all the time - especially berets. They are always wool. I also wear knit hats. I have to keep warm but I do worry about my hair.
That's a very valid concern. ❤️ If you wear hats and berets often you can sew some satin lining into your favorite ones to keep them convenient and effective at protecting your hair while protecting you from the cold . If sewing isn't your thing, I'm wondering if a tailor could do it for you. Really any slippery fabric will do.
❤❤❤❤❤ How did you know I needed this video!!!!! Thanks for this amazing content Kenya🌸💕💕🌸💕 “ It’ll fix your credit and make your man act right” 😅😅😅😅 I FELL OUT!

This is a really good question. I will usually re-moisturize every 2 days during the colder months. You can re-moisturize as your hair needs it though - once a day or even twice a day is completely fine. :) I don't necessarily recommend hot oil treatments but I am not against them either. My worry with hot oil treatments is how they may leave behind product build-up that coats the hair, and if you are over-clarifiying your hair to remove the oil residue it may defeat the purpose of the hot oil treatment in the first place. But, I can see how hot oil treatments could be very helpful for certain people and their regimens.

Do you moisturize mid-week in the colder mos? Also, do you recommend hot oil treatments during this time?
