As an octogenarian and SBC Sunday school teacher and deacon of many years, I concur completely with you on miracles today…and I have never been in a Baptist church where we did not have prayer lists and we prayed for healing regularly. Yes, we Never put God in a box!
I love listening to you and applying your lesson to my facilitating the Sunday school class. You are one of my “go too” in preparation. My wife loves to listen too and waits in anticipation when your wife speaks. She smiles when she does.
Thank you again, for a great lesson. You do a great job and you are an inspiration to those who tune in. May God richly bless you and Beverly for all that you do!
I found you a couple months ago when I was traveling and realized I left my Sunday School book at home. Thank you so much for doing these videos. We took a lot of rain in my area of South Georgia (lots of flooding). I pray you and your community did not receive any major damages. Thank you again for doing this.
Hello sir… I listen to your podcast every week, it’s always a big help to me … I do have a question about this episode …. at about the 11:27 mark, you made the statement that Barnabas was not an apostle … but Acts 14:14 says that he was ….. I’ve always struggled a little bit with how Barnabas fits into all of that … Could you explain? Thank you so much!
Hi Marty. Glad these lessons are helping you. I should have said that Barnabas was not one of the original 12 Apostles. Nor was he one of the 7 chosen to help with food distribution. The problem is that the word Apostle means one sent out with authority. In that case Barnabas and Paul both were sent out. However, Paul identifies himself as an original Apostle since Jesus personally sent him out to the Gentiles. Hope this helps a little. Regards - Mike

Thank you. I am studying/praying about cessation and continuation. Also a second working.
Hi Mike. Thanks for your time and effort in preparing for the weekly lessons. Please note the last slide scripture is James 5:16.
Will do
Thank you!
