Nice video! I just replaced my radiator with your instructions. For those of you that have the stock air cleaner, his looks to be K&N, then you will have to unbolt the three fasteners that hold the air cleaner box in place. I could not remove the radiator without doing so.
Hey thanks! Will definitely do the same. I do plan on making another channel here soon showcasing my turbo build on my wife’s is300. Already have the kit for it. Just piecing together fueling and other little misc items. I love driving, racing, modifying things.
I'm thinking, same Radiator manufacturer likely same problem in a few months. I have a GS300 and debating if to replace the Radiator at 135k miles as around era 2000 there was spate of Cars dying becuase the Water got into the Auto box via the internal cooler.Alomst killed my S Class Merc, but fortunately cooler pipe fell off outside. I have a Nissens Rad yet to put into a LS400. Perhaps Japanese OEM at great expense is only worry free solution.?
They are called hose clamp pliers. These are the same as mine. Well except they are a different color is all. www.amazon.com/Juvale-Pack-Hose-Clamp-Pliers/dp/B074338394/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=Hose+Clamp+Pliers&qid=1613667199&sr=8-4

Do you need to fill back up the transmission fluid aswell or is not much fluid held in the radiator

OE is best. However if you can’t get one or don’t want to pay the premium price then just get what you can.
If anyone doesn’t take care of this problem that leak will ruin the alternator
what hose clamp pliers are those?
