    Damn this is so cute and respectful, they both understand each other and wants the best for one another. Loving this better than the other one about the "Do you love me sayang" and the 6 Chinese kids!

    I wish I had a grandmother like shanti.
    She's so dedicated, loving and very proud of her heritage.
    Shruthi will be ever so grateful to her grandmother for her achievements in her life.
    Shanti, I take my hats off to you, for keeping your south Indian culture and heritage and language ALIVE.
    I'm very proud of you, keep up the good work.

    • @vinegarman4205
      @vinegarman4205 5 лет назад +2

      You can clearly see in the next few seconds that she is doing her mother tongue homework . Do forgive me if you're joking. Other than that stop being an idiot. You're most probably an adult,because you relate women's empowerment into something so innocent . If you're not joking I just hope you reconsider your social life because you just got factually owned by a 13 year old ordinary kid.

    • @sallieceelee5660
      @sallieceelee5660 5 лет назад

      @@vinegarman4205 Can you explain how you "factually owned" me? What "facts" did you bring forth? The fact is, the girl had her own interests. The grandmother wanted to force her values and interest on the girl. She had other things she wanted to do rather than learn her mother tongue. And yes, this had been happening for generations, older women putting pressure on younger women to follow their value system. Patriarchy is not only about men controlling women, but also women deciding for other women what they should do, study, focus on, behave, dress (the grandmother criticised her dress) etc. It's about imposing your values on another person. So how exactly did you "factually owned" me?

      @@sallieceelee5660 those days girls were forced to do house work. Now you're saying this Grandma doesn't support woman empowerment just because she doesn't allow the girl to read a book during the time she's supposed to be studying. It's not like during her free time she's forced to not read books. It's only when she needs to study ...
