I listened back to that show recently, and he absolutely blew Sean off. He did a few minutes with the guy, then moved into taking the Joey Pizano call (which wasn't great) and totally left Sean out. The reason Opie wanted to take the Joey Pizano call was because it was something that involved him. Opie kept pushing the boring call forward because Opie was part of the story and wanted attention.

For sure. The show was like magic. Truly a great coming together of so many different personalities. It ended in a dirty blaze, but I still am thankful it happened at all.

Opie's downfall was trying to run others and "the show" like a mob boss and sticking to those tactics. I feel like in alot 9of situations now it's not survival of the fittest, it's survival of the reciprocal.
