I'd like to add my experience of 7 years training with Master Wang Haijun, so that others reading this aren't misinformed by Geraldine F's multiple angry posts under her various pseudonyms (Lady Whirlwind / Taiji Queen/ Lady of Kung Fu etc)
Over the last 7 years I have trained with Master Wang 2-3 days a month on average and I always come away from his classes feeling challenged and inspired. Even in a room of 30 students I find that every word he says is directly applicable to me, provided I open my ears and my mind to the things he tells the group as a whole and examine what i'm doing. When another person receives a correction Master Wang always gives us a few minutes to look at our own movement to see if we are also doing x y or z. I'm surprised that you claim you received 'no instruction' at the 2013 camp, whilst I have over 15 pages of notes from that same camp and they represent only a fraction of what Master Wang said out loud to the whole group, taken when i was in a position to write things down. Do you feel that none of what he said applied to you? Do you think you know it all already? How can you possibly claim that you got nothing from it?

Really not sure who this person, said to have mutliple Y/T ids, is. Might not even be a woman although he/she registered with a female nick. Could be a troll, but if "she" had really attended Master Wang's class, then something must have gone wrong.
I wonder if it could be a case of her trying to prove that "she" knew more and better than the teacher? If a student shows such an attitude, and even if this is not verbalised, the body language, the face (with a smirk?), all show. Respect for teachers is a very oriental thing, especially for a country like China, and we are talking about an ancient art, and if the teacher senses that you don't respect him, he will write you off for the rest of the lesson (s). The message is: If you are so good, why learn from me? You should be teaching!
So this person could have been snubbed indeed and hence, why "she" is going ballistic here. LOL.
But if Master Wang is really what she alleged he is, then he must be a very bad man. And a swindler. But I doubt so.
The other possibility is that she is learned slower than all the rest of the students, and was taking too much of the instructor's time which would be unfair to the other students, if a group teaching became a one-to-one teaching. In that case, she might have felt that she was not given enough personal coaching...
Another one...is the expectations. Are participants attending hoping to improve their forms, and get their postures right? Or are they intending to learn some martial applications? If this person wanted to learn how to fight rather than doing the forms right, and if the teacher intended to only teach the forms, then there is a mismatch there, and hence why "she" wrote:
Quote: Keep your money in your pocket. NOBODY TRAINING WITH HIM COULD FIGHT THEIR WAY OUT OF A WET PAPER BAG. Unquote.

I believe i was also on that course in 2013. Although i don't take notes myself i left with my tai chi feeling enriched from the high level of tuition given. C thank you for saying this as the criticism under the various pseudonyms (all coming from one person)is completely unjust.

Yes, the same as Shane. Master Wang is nearly unparalleled. Go to his website (google) and look at his credentials. See and feel him in person.

It seems that Master Wang Hai Jun is the son of Grand Master Wang Xi An from Chen Ja Gou viilage He Nạn.

If one has been through the whole taiji arena be it in China or overseas.....its all getting very entrenpreneur and commercialisd in getting a bigger slice of making money through teaching taichi calling them true masters who has trained or have been taught by very legendary taiji masters. There are also many "break-off: factions due to reasons unknown to anyone unless u are part of the whole game. Its just so unsure if you are truly learning the right form of taichi !

Hello Chen Taiji Ireland! I am an American Chen brother. Thanks for sharing this video.
I was also wondering if you knew the name of this music? I always hear it at the
seminars and would like to have it for training.
    Thank you.

Is he a good teacher? is he conscious? does he teach about meditation, breathing, qigung, posture? does he tell you how to move, posture, breath?what does he teach in his class ? the old form? there are 3 good teachers in Manchester for the Chen style : darryl Moy, master Wang, and taiji center with master Limin Yue student of Chen Zen lei. I don't know which one choose !!! Thanks.

I'll let you in on a secret, You can't learn Taiji from attending a seminar 3 times a year.
You need a personal instructor who will transfer his skills. There is no other way.

Imagine getting conned out of 650 euros for two hours of slow motion fly-swatting. None of these creampuffs could fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Keep your money in your pocket. NOBODY TRAINING WITH HIM COULD FIGHT THEIR WAY OUT OF A WET PAPER BAG.
If you want to be left penny less than train with him. While you stand at the back of the class and he ignores you and trains with the teacher.
His method is he explains everything to the teacher and gives all the instructions to him. He explains nothing to the students. I should know I was conned a few times.
