You know what is so precious about this video? The fact that Chef Paul was able to interpret Guga's family life through his cooking. Like looking at how someone interacts socially. Also, how much he loves his "sexy pudgy hands."
You two are a match made in heaven I swear. One is more education oriented and chill, the other is just pure sarcasm and comedy. It's the best type of duo ever!
ABSOLUTELY more reactions to Guga with Paul. He brings a great energy to these videos. You have the analytical, more educational side that you bring to the table, and then Paul brings the comedy. It's a great dynamic, you two should honestly have your own duo channel lol
Frenchie is an incredible guest! Love your solo videos, but love them even more when you're playing the straight man to his unrestrained commentary. Top notch.
It's hilarious seeing Frenchie so passionate and excited. Last time I got this excited for food was over a dish I was able to cook with all the easily acquired stuff from a Walmart and no special equipment. I made Korean Army Stew because it was featured on an MxR Vlog video and my family ate the entire massive stew pot's worth in two days. A dish that took me maybe an hour of prep, then two hours of letting some of the meats marinate in soy sauce or salt, then about an hour of cooking - gone in like two days to four people that usually don't even finish a normal sized meal over the course of a week. Lol. Best compliment I ever got. Words cannot express how much joy I get seeing so dudes just being dudes being wholesome, good at making food, telling one another they're good at making food at giving one another good feedback and just hanging out. I genuinely want to hang out with them and learn how to cook. ( If my crippled self could stand on my busted leg for more than an hour. Lol. )
Oh, such fun when Frenchie comes to play. Thanks for giving him a great vid to watch. Seeing his eyes light up and "I WANT TO COOK!!!!" was so fun. You can see his passion coming out to play. Watching train wrecks are fun for the snark and all, but seeing the joy of food is just as enjoyable. Fingers crossed we can get you and Frenchie down to Miami to play in Guga's house again. Thank you Brian for these wonderful collaborations, they are such fun. Frenchie, not sure if you have enough time for your own channel, but we love it when you come to play
Frenchie saying that it has been a long time since he saw something that made him want to cook is like a honor badge. its rekindling the fire of a chef, it is beautiful, not to mention that Frenchie's energy and input are really fun to watch. Honest criticism and praise is something we all need.
17:50 the fumes only happen when you're too close to the meat with the torch flame, the type of torch Guga uses can get a bit closer but still too close and you smell and taste the fumes. Also, propane is not kerosene.
Watching Guga's videos the original definition of amateur comes to mind.....now it means a newbie....but originally it meant for the love/passion of something, and that's what I love ve about him.....that love for food is there! I have watched many cooking shows and you see the chef and it's work....the fun is gone, that's why Guga is amazing
The stupid face Paul made after you said “this is not me crawling up your ass” combined with “Are you trying to turn me on?” Is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while. Even the way he said it was perfect
These episodes with Paul is the first time you've made me want to find someone's restaurant and try it out. Aside from your mission sandwich social of course.
This is one of my favorite videos from this channel. There's just something so cathartic about hearing people who are passionate about food, getting to talk about good food.
What you don't get about Guga's blowtorch is it runs on propane, the same little cans you use for a camp stove. So I don't know if you'd pick up the smell at all. He likes using the torch because, in his own words, "It's painting with fire." And who are we to argue with the vision of the artiste?
About the blowtorch fumes: very early SousVideEverything videos he mentioned that only the inner (blue) flame has fumes, keeping a relative distance only the heat hits
Chef Paul: "Why nobody tell me Guga was so handsome? I mean... I never cheated on my wife... Buuut..." Also, now i get why its so good to have both of you at the same time... Because it's not like 2 professionals reacting to something... It's more like 2 friends enjoying something together
It would be "Yes" to all the questions. Yes I would like to see more of Paul Denamiel, yes I would love to watch you to do some cooking together, yes I'd definitely love if Paul was invited by Guga (perhaps try the real onion recipe instread of a pack?) and yes, Paul Denamiel's channel would probably be awesome, the guy is great.
Love your stuff. Frenchie is my favorite of all your guests. So much personality and passion, and you guys have great chemistry. If I wasn't overdrafting to make it from paycheck to paycheck the extended videos with Frenchie are the thing that would make me want to join your Patreon.
Guga has at least one video, more I think, about different searing methods. He definitely talks about how his flame thrower doesn't impart "torch taste". Y'all should review that video .
I am absolutely thrilled watching how inspired Chef Paul is by Guga's cooking. This is why I watch cooking videos on the internet. Look at the excitement! Look at his passion firing up!
I love this video so much. It's like when you show your friend a band that's new to them and they fall in love and it makes you so happy on the inside 🥰 "Sexy pudgy hands!" 🤣 Every time Paul gasped in excitement, my soul opened a little more. Guga has inspired me to get back into my love for cooking. The man is so passionate and a legend. I'm also happy to hear Guga gives good hugs 😂 "That's it?! I want more!" Guga hooks you in!
Cannot wait for the Guga, Brian Tsao, and Frenchie collaboration. Guga has such great information to share, and both chefs have so many extra skills to share. It would be phenomenal!
That potato dish is extremely similar to a dish I like to make now and then. I usually add onions and tomatoes though. I remember that he previously made Hasselback potatoes, which is a classic Swedish dish, so I kind of wonder if he got a Swedish cook book for Christmas at one point
@@ChefBrianTsao The recepe I use comes from a cooking book I was gifted around 35 years ago, and has IIRC 100 different potato recepes, many of them similar to that one. It's called "låda", lit "box", and are basically variations of potato gratins. Forgot to say, I also add cream and/or milk

It’s the first day of my vacation. I’m happy I started it with this video. I very much want to see a collaboration between you , Paul and Guga. I don’t know what I’m going to do with my time off now that I’ve seen this. This is the best one with Frenchie yet!
This was hysterical! I love seeing people getting introduced to Guga, man is a master at his craft and his channels inspired me to start cooking and now I cook food on a daily basis at home for myself and my wife as well as family members when they come over.
You and Paul together make the best content! Not a chef, but a cook for 21 years. And your conversations sound just like me and my buddies talking shit. Love it!
This was one of the best videos yet! Hahaha laughed from beginning to End. Paul is the best Collab! You, Paul and Guga on the same video, would be like the holy trinity of youtube food videos!

Just started watching your videos a few days ago, I've been watching guga for awhile and it made me so happy hearing you guys hyping him up. You guys are great and am enjoying all your videos!
Not gunna lie, this is probably my new favorite reaction video. Period. Not just favorite "Reaction by Chef Brian", I mean full on favorite reaction video.
Absolutely loved this episode. One of my absolute favorites! Frenchie and you need to have much more content together. So glad he loves Guga also. I hope to god we get a colab with the 3 of you!
I've watched this same video 5 times now, and each time it brings me such joy! I see Chef Paul's eyes light up and I swear he is falling in love. And Brian...in the background just waiting to see Paul's reaction to the magic of Guga...priceless. I sense that Brian is just giddy to share what he's found.
You two are so amazing together. I don't think I've seen you laugh as much or as hard as you did in this video. It was awesome. Any time you can have Frenchy on, I hope you do. You two have such amazing chemistry. And I really hope Guga's able to see this. You know that Frenchy doesn't hold back, in anything, with praise or criticism, and he definitely laid on the praise here. And it's certainly deserved on Guga's part. But yeah, I thought that Frenchy's first episode was possibly my favorite. This one is now right up there with it.
i think pauls reaction is basically my reaction when i first saw a Guga video. at first its like "wtf is he doing" then as it goes im just "HOLY CRAP! HE'S A GENIUS!"
LOVE Paul! Can't wait to meet him.
let's fking gooooo
Yessssss!!!!! All my favorite RUclipsrs are linking up!!!!!
The food verse is growing
Oh the foody heavens are awakening!!
Guga, when are you going to do a side dish compilation? a playlist of just those and info linking to the full videos in the description?
The title should just be "Two chefs fanboy over Guga" and I would still absolutely watch 😂

It’s coming! So You Wanna Get Fat is the working title I think.

More Paul reacting to Guga please, it was hilarious and great seeing how excited he got from watching Guga do one of his experiments.
This is amazing! I love seeing Paul’s reaction to Guga. You could see the moment that Paul’s mind went into “create” mode!
He left so inspired!
“He’s consistent right?” “He’s one of us” 😂😂😂
I want more Frenchie in my life, he's chaotic and I love him.

"My wife is a chubby chaser," made me love Paul.
We need to ply these two with imbibement. And get Guga into the mix. #moarwhiskey
The energy between you two is so infectious and wholesome, you can tell you two are genuinely good friends IRL
He uses a special blowtorch. The flame is further away from the nozzle so that the off-flavor is negligible.
Frenchie is an incredible guest! Love your solo videos, but love them even more when you're playing the straight man to his unrestrained commentary. Top notch.
Seems Frenchie has been heavily smitten by Guga and not just you 😂
