When Erik said “ that’s gonna be your best friend for your whole life” as a twin I started crying because it really is true. He was my first best friend and he’ll be my last. There’s just no other relationship like spending your entire life with another person and have all your same life experiences at the same time.

Can we all just thank "'Sarah", the NICU nurse, who was determined to bring Maisy home before Christmas. Bringing good vibes and blessings to all NICU nurses.
After reading a lot of comments I want to say. Lets give Erik LOTS of credit too. He went through everyday with her, minus pumping gallons. And when he talked about the relief I cried. Ok I cried the whole time, but this was trauma for him too. And grandma holding down the fort and keeping Flynn happy. And there are probably at least a million of us who have sobbed today for your family!
I used to be a NICU nurse, and watching the "after" is so heartwarming and beautiful and I'm so happy for you! I'm hugging all of you so so so so much!

I am a fraternal Twin. So, when Eric said “this is your best friend for life”, or something along those lines, I started to cry. I am 17, and I can proudly say my twin brother is my greatest friend. For the last 17 years he’s been there for me through it all, we’ve never missed a birthday together. We took our drivers tests on the same day. I failed mine. My brother was so excited to get his license, he had been waiting for that moment for so long and he chose to wait another week because he refused to get his without me getting mine. Now, my brother has plans to go off to the army. He’s actually joining the reserves over the summer. Our birthday is in the summer. I will have my 18th birthday without him.

And to think, pregnant Colleen was so stressed about how she was gonna hold both of her babies at the same time. Not only have your sweet babies graduated from the NICU, but you have also graduated as well and have gone through one of the hardest things ever imaginable and you've come out stronger than ever. You're absolutely killing it mama! So happy for you guys!!!

I love the fact that Maisy looks so much older than Wesley because of how much of a chubby baby she is!!! Im so proud of you Colleen! You finally have your dream of having both the twins home come true!!!!
