Good question, you have to remember we only need to sign when necessary and it must not be misleading I tend not to signal on approach as once on the roundabout the road markings show us where to go, you can just as easily signal on approach but you must cancel the right hand signal before you move over to the left lane just after the 2nd set of lights Hope that makes sense
