A person does not have to ID in the US anywhere until they have been accused of a crime or arrested. Then forcing someone to ID is against the 4th amendment to be secure in your person, houses, papers and effects. If you swear an oath to the Constitution, and every cop does, then break it you are NOT a good cop, a good American nor, in my opinion, a good person. It's like hiring a babysitter to watch your kids, they swear they'll keep them safe, then they slap your kid for being thirsty or hungry. I would never trust that person about anything ever again. How can you trust this cop not to break some law with your family?

After watching that mayor speak over you constantly, not letting you get a word in edgewise and try to explain away the actions of his chief instead of taking responsibility for them, I will go out of my way to avoid Memphis Texas while visiting my several family members that live in the state.
They definitely don’t want you to sue that city. Anything over $500 and they will go bankrupt.

Being raised and living a long time in small town Texas, this is not shocking at all. What is shocking was the Chief Deputy. Kudos to him for being proactive with his staff. I honestly expected it to go the same way.

Wow, my hometown of Memphis TX...my father, grandfather, 2 brothers are buried there. Only place I've ever spent a day in jail lol...I have childhood stories of every shop there and what used to be, grandfather also preached there for 56yrs. Never thought I'd see Memphis on one of these videos lol, crazy. From myself and a lot of good folks I know still live around there, apologies for the bad experience brother
