The Performante looks far better, and yours in particular is a classic; there is no way you should make that trade!
At the end, I felt the same way.
@@DoctaM3 I assume the Handling is so close that only an Xlent driver can tell the difference. Had 2 Ferrari, if I buy an Evo the depreciation after 2-3 years will be huge
I prefer Evo, here's why:
1. Torque vectoring, which the Evo has, is always going to be better, more responsive and more direct than aero vectoring which the Performante has.
2. The LDVI is sensational combined with the new tech on screen.
3. Rear wheel steering works better with torque vectoring (Evo) than with aero vectoring (Performante) because torque off the wheels/tyres is more instantaneous that torque driven by air.
The ultimate combination would be an EVO Performante with both aero and torque vectoring controlled by LDVI and integrated with rear wheel steering ... now that would be AMAZING and if anyone can get it right it would be Lamborghini. There would be nothing on the planet that would come close to an EVO Performante in this format.
Docta, have a word in Lamborghini's ear when you see them.
Also, while you're talking to them, tell them to make an Evo Huracan Spyder with a hard top just like the Aventador (split in two and stored in the boot). It will save weight without all the mechanics required for a fold-away type and a hard top roadster always looks a lot better than a soft top roadster.
You bring up a lot of great points. There will be a "performante" version of the Evo for sure. There are a few more years of the Huracan platform before it goes hybrid.

I agree. I just traded in the 18 Performante for the 2020 EVO spyder. It’s so much more advanced. Loving it so far.

I would take the EVO Coupe. I am not a wing guy, so I am not going to miss much from the Performante. Then, you add in the all-wheel steer, is hard to beat such a package.
Yea.i can see that reasoning. For instance, I love the 50th Anniversary more than the Aventador SV. Huge exterior difference is the absence of a big wing. It just look cleaner that way.
Absolutely, to me it just keeps the lines of car cleaner. So, what's next? Will Lamborghini be unveiling the Aventador's replacement next year in Geneva? I can't wait, is time. The current models are losing its freshness, is really time to see a new model.
@@Rascallucci I doubt we will see Aventador replacement next year at Geneva. Maybe some variants of Urus and Aventador S. SVJ will be the pinnacle of the Aventador line as a track focused car. The LB4H (hybrid hypercar), will get shown at Frankfurt & maybe at Geneva.
I prefer the performante due to it being more exclusive, and I like coupe and the alcantara interior
Having one of these presently and having had two Aventadors and one Performante, overall I like this one best. Bad-ass feel! Don’t forget the retractable soft top convertible advantage.

For me and this is just a personal observation, I'd have the Evo hardtop. I love convertibles, but when it comes to exotics, I've always preferred a hardtop. I'll take a 2005 SL55/65 for top down cruising and the Evo for more precision driving. Keep up the great work and top notch videos.

I personally like the EVO better and the huracan lp610-4 is my favourite. It’s just that I really don’t like the looks of cars with spoilers and all of those aerodynamic modifications.

Some of the technical aspects may be better than the Performante (on paper) but we all know we would prefer the Purplemante over an Evo. Yes the Evo is newer but, overall the Performante has a better visceral feel that the Evo can't reproduce. Somehow I have a feeling that there may be an Evo in your future but please keep the Purplemante!

I owned both the lp560 and the 570 perf back in the day. I recently bought the perf spyder and after 6 months of ownership I test drove the EVO and EVO spyder for a potential upgrade - my 2 cents on this is that I personally prefer the performante. The car is raw and wild and looks aggressive, while the EVO is more techie the performante gives you that raw feeling and a clinging back to the past. One of the best cars I’ve owned that’s for sure and I think this one is definitely a keeper.

Great review. I have yet to drive the Performante but the Perf and EVO are definitely slightly different beasts- the former is the Huracan's hardcore, track-focused weekend warrior while the EVO is meant as the comfortable, daily-driver. Hard to go wrong with either although they both offer their own set of features that differentiates one from the other.
Also, do you happen to know why Lamborghini is pushing this car so hard? I get that it's new and the last hurrah of the Huracan but Lambo dealerships (at least where I live) have been offering test drives to basically everyone, even those who clearly aren't interested in purchasing it. Usually you have to be a prospective buyer to test something at an exotic car dealership but Lamborghini recently ran a program where anyone could walk in, sign a waiver, and go for a test drive. Not complaining and I loved being able to drive this car but I have no idea why they let me.
Well the Performante. production is done so if you want to Huracan, you can only get the Evo coupe and Evo Spyder. So it seems hard but it is really their only V10 line for now. Maybe a RWD version to come at Geneva? Incidentally, the Urus is selling like crazy. More Urus sold this year than Huracan and Aventador combined! CRAZY!
@@DoctaM3 As sick as I am of seeing a Urus what seems like every day, more Urus sales equals more money for special Lamborghini projects. I'm stoked to see what bonkers hypercar/supercar they come up with next, especially if it's based on the new Terzo Milennio concept like they teased!
If desired, the EVO is definitely a daily driver without a doubt. Love my Spyder!

After seeing the Performante spyder in Dubai I am pretty sure that this would be my prefered choice. But I am sure the difference is very small.

Personally, I'd probably go with the EVO Spyder over the Performante Spyder. I currently own a Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder, and test drove a Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante, and while I did love the aggressiveness of the Performante, I didn't care for the interior at all. It was even more uncomfortable than the LP560, which isn't exactly an S Class to begin with. I'd be interested to get your thoughts on how the two compare comfort-wise. Certainly, I understand that if you want comfort, a 2 seat Lambo isn't the best choice...by far :D But I still value ride quality and a certain degree of comfort when driving. I have no plans to track my car, so an extra .2 seconds 0-60 or something like that isn't a big deal for me. My next car will definitely be a Huracan. I drove the LP610-4 Coupe that a friend owns, and I am in love. I can't wait to drive the Spyder. Just really trying to decide between the EVO Spyder, or the Performante Spyder.
Can there be a bigger , aftermarket spoiler installed? Or is that small one to in the way?

I think the Huracan Evo Spyder looks and drives better than the Performante which I also love, but no contest in my opinion...Plus the top goes down with the push of a button..Best sound...modern tech...more snappy looking...fit and finish is better....driving experience better..Best rear end out of any vehicle which more than makes up for the lack of wing...They got it right here with the evo spyder
My experience is different. I have had all versions of the Huracan.

You can't go wrong with either....I respect your opinion and you are much more knowledgeable than I am...It was my understanding that the evo was a modern better version of the Performante though minus the wing.
Evo has an interior upgrade, it’s basically a performante with a better interior and comfort. There’s no wing or Italian flag but you can always buy a wing. People do it all the time
Nope. The Evo is an upgrade for the LP610. Great it, interior is nicer but performance wise, the Performate is light and remains more track focused.

@doctam3 The Performante might be a better track car than the Evo, but so is the SVJ over the Aventador S. I think the updated technology of the Evo outweighs it not being as aggressive as the performante, especially with the incoming SVJ, which set a Nurburgring production car lap record. You should go with the SVJ and Evo spyder.
I agree. It depends on how you drive the car and the purpose. If you enjoy spirited driving and you find the place for it or the track, then the Performante will infinitely be more rewarding. Otherwise, around town, Evo is the way to go.
Perfromante looks better Id have to say especially the front looks very aggresive and the Wing, I mean when you see a Lambo with a wing especially a factory fitted it looks like no other....but the EVO takes the cake on everyday comfort and technology upgrade

Perf by an edge but mostly the same price but any Spyder is usually more expensive than the coupe. So if you look at Spyder vs. Spyder is close.

only reason to go EVO over PERF is the following, nobody puts miles on perfs, now not nobody at all but nobody in europe at least, or if they do they dont sell the car. im in the market, wanted a perf for years, now I can buy one I have to wait for the evo to take a first hit and then buy it up for 220 wish. euro. and then take the depreciation from there but at least I can daily drive it, unlike a perf which would probably lose half its value if you go past 40k km with it, or less. but its still the kind of them all to me. can't wait for my evo tho
DoctaM3 Absolutely Amazing Review that 2020 Huracan Evo Spyder is absolutely Incredible Car and definitely Huracan Evos are definitely outstanding replacements for Regular Hurcan and I would definitely get a Performante because they're better looking and they're previous Kings of the Ring

Giallo Inti I believe. It replaced Giallo Midas. Both are pearlescent paint finishes. Beautiful when you see them up close in sunlight.
Personally I actually like the look of the old Huracan more than the EVO. That being said I’d have an Perf Spyder over a EVO Spyder any day of the week. Nothing beats that wing, sound and look. The EVO is great, but actually I would take a regular Huracan over the EVO if I had the choice because the EVO looks outlandish and kinda frustratingly bad.
You just don’t know how to see properly. EVO looks a lot better than the regular Huracan. Come on 😅
I own a 2020 evo spyder and it is way the better car. Such louder with the roof down too. Loads of videos on my channel
Performance wise, the Performante is much better. I have driven just about every variant of the Huracan. STO is about the only better version than the Perf. I still love the Evo Spyder--who would not love an open top, right?

It is Spanish as you know. I can certainly put the emphasis better but in America my pronunciation is way close to what Lamborghini say that most. To answer the second point, the Huracan has design elements related to the Miura as was told to me by the designer direction. He also talks about it other videos including Lambo's official channel.

U never redline the cars you drive. You always short shift. These cars show most of their power in high rpms...
That. is not quite true. I do in this video and watch many of. my other videos. If you are driving in the city, you are never going to redline the car unless of course you are doing stuff that just not safe.

Performante is more aggressive looking and sounding. Evo is a great update on the regular 610 - 4 but its not a track focussed version like the Performante
