We have EVEN MORE 2024 Carnival Season Content today.
In this video, we are showing you the Parading experience of the Krewe of Cleopatra. This parade was a show for the ages, between the floats, the bands, the dance krewes, and the massive amount of throws that were tossed during this parade! We enjoyed this parade immensely! So come along as we show you the splendor that is the Krewe of Cleopatra! ALL HAIL CLEO!!

There have been numerous queens throughout the ages, but none as brave, beautiful or fearless as Cleopatra. Over 50 years ago, a New Orleans family chose to honor this icon of history, and resolved to create the all female “Krewe of Cleopatra”. The Krewe continues to be combine their passion for Mardi Gras and their love for the city of New Orleans every year, creating a unique and sisterhood of family members, friends, locals, and out-of-towners.
Every year since 1972, on the night of first Friday of Carnival Season, the Krewe rolls through the streets of New Orleans, parading with unparalleled spirit and flair, kicking off the city wide celebration in an unforgettable way.
Antiquity remembers Queen Cleopatra for being both the embodiment of grace and femininity. Her political opponents respected her as a formidable leader of strong will. The members of the Krewe of Cleopatra community look to these qualities as inspiration in their modern lives. Ladies of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to apply for Krewe Membership and the opportunity to enjoy an experience of a lifetime, riding this Mardi Gras season.
