After black played h6 there was an amazing line with Qg6 sacrificing the queen. I thought you'd show that too as the commentators of the live feed showed. Everyone on twitter is sharing that clip.
10:30 there's a bishop fork of three pieces. I've probably analyzed at least a thousand top level games and I don't recall EVER seeing a bishop fork three pieces (you barely see them at all, even forking two pieces). This game would be worth looking at just for that. But it's also a really good game...
9:35 I was asleep for some time after it went downhill for black but then suddenly woke up when I heard "Also the queen is under attack" I guess my brain totally believed that it's real cause this year is crazy... But Why is Agad's voice so soothing!!😂 "Captures Captures Captures Captures" ...deep sleep
I feel like Levon had the disadvantage due to being put in check even when he wasn't in check...either that or Agad misspoke a couple times. That's my comment. Perhaps I should have gone for the "Levon sure did Zug a lot of Zwang in that one!"
Its quite terrifying, when all commentators were impressed with magnus play and also pity for levon, during the broadcast. #suggestion can put no of games at the thumbnail (sort like u did during abbey rapid challenge recently, as this clutch match got 12 games.
This is like sorcery, it is incredible that he can put such an elite player into such a terrible position bit by bit. You feel like the position is equal-ish and after a few moves, you are locked up into a small corner of the board in complete zugzwang, with a losing position...
What a great example of building relentless pressure and not permitting your opponent any counterplay! Interestingly, Stockfish doesn't give white any real advantage until black plays Nc8 on move 22. But it's all downhill from there for black (although Stockfish doesn't like white's Qh5, preferring Qa1).

Same, though it took me a minute to realize how powerful the move was. Didn't seem great until I realized it wasn't a lethal move, but an oppressive move. I really want to get back into Chess
Maybe black played Nc8 because he was afraid of Nf6+ followed by gxf6 Qg4+ or maybe even Qh5 directly is black doesn't take. Maybe later followed at some point by Rxf6 or Bf5.
this is that type of game in that quote where it says the best type of game you'd like to win is the game in which it is not clear where your opponent made the mistake. or something like that, told by whom I don't remember. carlsen played this like an engine.
When I watch this game and try to analyze which attribute to put onto Magnus playstyle it is maybe that with every move he makes he limits the good moves his opponent can make further and further until his opponent can only make mistakes.
