Sounds perfect absolute game changer for the S55
Thanks dude!👍🏼
Active autowerke EL midpipe & burbles off is a new (or old) world, wow.
Tell me about it! Believe it or not but driving in efficient with valves open is also a game changer 🤣!
Good job bro! Car sounds amazing 👏
Cheers bro!
sounds great. kel dog in the fez bomb funny as f
Thanks! 😁
Sounds awesome, surprised the two equal length systems work together…. As would think they wouldn’t be equal length combined if that makes sense
Yeah I was a bit anxious about it not working😅
@@pra_tt I wonder if you could swap out the longer miltek equal length pipe for a standard length one?
I have a miltek equal length also considering the active auto
Still sounds really good mind
Yeah I don’t see why not! It’s just getting the two to meet up. My miltek had to be chopped and fabricated to the active autowerke pipe.
Hi. It sound f**king great :) I've got also Milltek EL GPF-Back and considered AA midpipe. Did the pipes meet without any custom pipes preparation? Just cut off and connect AA Midpipe with Milltek EL?
Thanks dude! Unfortunately there is some fabrication needed to make the two work together! The guys who done it sent me some photos of the work they done but it’s hard to tell as I’m not very mechanically minded haha! And yes it’s much louder than the milltek😂
Still the best looking m car to date, sold my m2 a year ago, and I'm on the look out for the mighty m2 competition now, great video keep them coming.
I agree! Thanks John, much appreciated👍🏼
If youve kept the Equal length part of the milltek and added the AA mid pipe, it wont actually be equal length. Youll need the non equal length part from Milltek e.g the stock configuration. Sounds good though
Yeah you’re correct! The Sound was the goal and this way just so happened to be the cheapest way forward for me.
Hey bud, realise you don’t have to say but roughly how much did it cost you fitted? I have a Remus system so realise i have to buy additional parts. Just wondered ball park? Also pretty much the most informative video of sound comparisons on youtube 👍🏽
Cheers dude! I got the midpipe on sale from ML Peformance for about £1500 (usually £1900 ish I think) and for emulators and fitting was around £600-£700 ish. Hope this helps👍🏼
Hi, how loud is the cold start now vs before AA pipe? Would you say its louder than with valves open before the midpipe? Considering the same upgrade, but live in a apartmemt with a shared garage. Wanna be able to be a bit more lowkey with the valves shut.
The cold start cycle is very loud compared to what it use to be. So loud that it has set off car alarms before😂
If I were you, I would get the AA pipe and pair it with the stock silencer. Or if you already have a aftermarket cat back exhaust then I would get the resonated version of the AA pipe.
I think either way it’s going to make it considerably louder. Maybe look at getting your cold start mapped out?
Is it significantly louder?
Have you had the car mapped or is it just stock ? I’ve got the same miltek system as you and I’m looking at getting the AA equal length mid pipe . Where did you get emulators from ?
It’s stock mate! The guys at Autoworks in Swindon that fitted the pipe installed them for me. I’m pretty sure ML performance sell them. Give them a call or email and they should be able to point you in the right direction 😁
Thanks mate ! Another question 😂 did the AA mid pipe fit the miltek system ok ? Did you need any extra clamps or reducers to make it fit
How did you get round the OPF error on the dash with fitting the EL system?
The company that fit it used emulators which essentially tells the cars Flow sensors that the opfs are still there.
Do you still have the M2?
Yeah dude!
@@pra_tt do you ever go to car meets?
I have an M2 comp, miltek equal length, it’s ok better than stock but not completely what I wanted tbh
Considering the active autowerke, would love to hear yours in real life
Are you in the south west? Sounds like you might be
Yeah I do on the odd occasion. Me and a few mates run our own car meet once a month at a local pub. It’s called Pitstop Breakfast Club, I’ll be there if you wanted to swing by. The next meet is on the 19th of November😁
@@pra_tt that would great Thanks
I’m just south of Bristol
Ah yeh got it found on face book
Chippenham 👍🏻
midpipe sounds terrible
Thanks😁
