    Good video. Same exhaust set up as mine. Perfect balance for me, loud enough in sport and still normal sounding with valves closed. Tone is deeper in real life compared to stock.

    Not gonna lie, his car doesn't actually sound like it has an equal length midpipe on it. I've watched many videos of this as the F82 M4 is one of my dream cars and this one kinda sounds like it has the same stock tone, just louder...

    • @MrHCars
      @MrHCars  Год назад +1

      No, this isn’t the AA equal length midpipe. It’s just the standard AA midpipe.
      So your ears are on point 😅

      Stock tune so no added power just maps out the opf so no sensors ping on dash

    I wouldn’t dare run a splitter on the same springs as Josh I have the corner splitters which gives a nice look without risking ripping them off on every bump they still scrape on the bottom if I’m not careful

      The winglets will be enough to add a bit of flair but without the scrape!

    Can you install the AA midpipe from the OPF back? Essentially an equal length pipe replacing the resonator

    • @MrHCars
      @MrHCars  3 года назад

      Sadly not mate.
      Only comes as cat back. Probably because AA are an American company without any concept of OPF’s.
      You’re better off getting a custom midpipe or res delete instead

    Would an AA midpipe and remus back box fit together with clamps or would it require welding? Was thinking of asking Motech if that's something possible as it seems like the ideal setup

    • @MrHCars
      @MrHCars  2 года назад

      You’ll have to ask Motech for that. But it has been done on other cars on YT - so it’s possible

    What software did you use to stop the engine light coming on after installing the mid pipe? Good video 👌

    • @amcheung10
      @amcheung10 2 года назад +1

      This midpipe doesn't cause any engine lights to come on, I haven't had any issues with mine and it's been nearly 2 years.

    *Could someone tell me please if the Active Autowerke mid pipe or the equal lenght one is legal in the European Union? I would leave everything stock (stock downpipes, stock muffler), I would only change the mid pipes. If yes, then may I also pair it with an aftermarket valve controlled system which has an EC approval? I cannot find any info about this.*

      did you resolve/find any info about it?

    • @Stilo95
      @Stilo95 2 года назад +1

      @@richinfeels As for as I know, the AA equal lenght mid pipe and the normal mid pipe both of them are legal as long as you don't have catless downpipes installed or you deleted the cats completely. In the EU they don't have any approval! In Germany it must be like factory I read. It's still not 100% clear to me whether it's acceptable or not for the authorities.
