Just two incredibly kind-hearted and lovely people who hung out as friends and started having real emotions for each other. They were young, innocent, sincere and did everything without holding back. Like only the young can. They were like our own, boy and girl next door, we got to see them grow as people and as a couple. Watching over them for so long, you naturally became to care for them. As a couple, they both had an incredible positive influences on each other. By learning about each other and trusting each other, they became stronger personally. So much, that the changes were visible to the close people around them. Because of that and because they seemed so genuinely happy whenever they were together, both fandoms just adored them seeing together. After spending all that time together, you could see how deeply they began to care for each other. But then suddenly, out of the blue, they were told to break that precious relationship. The idea of these kind of (idol) interactions may look exciting and fun in the beginning. However in the end it becomes almost cruel. They had spend so much time together, almost a year. They honed their relationship into one of comfort and complete trust but then they were basically told to treat each other like strangers again. The scene of them having to say goodbye was just so painful and heartbreaking. Because we knew that neither of them actually *wanted* to give up that relationship. Part of us can't forget that pain and all those countless beautiful moments they shared together. Joy recently posted a surprise celebration for her from WGM producer on her recent solo. It has a tarpaulin with Sungjae and her face all over it. If Joy is not comfortable with it, the PD won't be doing a thing like that.. either that or she is just extremely professional. I will continue to support them both either way. :) EDIT: If you know the news already, hello to you again. This is major heartbreak for us but I will always support Joy and Sungjae whatever happened. Sungjoy shippers are the best shippers I've met. Just two incredibly kind-hearted and lovely people who hung out as friends and started having real emotions for each other. They were young, innocent, sincere and did everything without holding back. Like only the young can.
They were like our own, boy and girl next door, we got to see them grow as people and as a couple. Watching over them for so long, you naturally became to care for them.
As a couple, they both had an incredible positive influences on each other. By learning about each other and trusting each other,
they became stronger personally. So much, that the changes were visible to the close people around them. Because of that and because they seemed so genuinely happy whenever they were together, both fandoms just adored them seeing together.
After spending all that time together, you could see how deeply they began to care for each other. But then suddenly, out of the blue, they were told to break that precious relationship.
The idea of these kind of (idol) interactions may look exciting and fun in the beginning. However in the end it becomes almost cruel. They had spend so much time together, almost a year. They honed their relationship into one of comfort and complete trust but then they were basically told to treat each other like strangers again.
The scene of them having to say goodbye was just so painful and heartbreaking. Because we knew that neither of them actually *wanted* to give up that relationship.
Part of us can't forget that pain and all those countless beautiful moments they shared together. That's why most of us would be nothing but ecstatic, if they decided to have relationship again to be happy with each other.
For when you do decide to watch WGM, I want to warn you about this pain that comes with it.
All couples in WGM, are lovely but eventually all of them have to say goodbye to each other.
No matter how much much you got used to their unique relationship or how much you began to adore them.
They all end and for some it's going to hurt like hell 😔 That's why still so many of us have these ships in our heart. The memories were just too beautiful to forget.
Though I don't want to scare you off completely, because being able to watch their relation being formed truly is a Joy (Pun intended). Just keep the inevitable end in mind when you begin.
